"I hired them to sweep the chimneys for my fireplace and woodburning stove. A tech arrived on time and was pleasant. However he admitted he was new to the company and industry and after looking at the fireplace and woodburning stove informed me that he was not familiar with the two systems and could not do the work. He took pictures and told me his boss- the company owner- would call me the following week to set a time for a more experienced person to do the work. They never called. I called twice and left messages that were not returned. I appreciate the fact the tech did not try and do the job he was not comfortable with and mess something up. However very disappointed they did not call back or at least return my calls. I guess they were not interested since it was a more challenging job."

"Hatton Brick & Chimney was contacted and came within days after my request for a free estimate. They did not try to add on anything that was not necessary to the repair. I had water pouring and and around my chimney and they made it a priority to come for the estimate and come to do the work. They were by far lower than the other estimates I got and they did not try to sell me an entire new chimney for thousands of dollars like the others. They did great work, very professional, and cleaned up their mess. They were fast and efficient too! I would hire them again if the needed. Since the brick used on or chimney is no longer made, they had creative fixes! Very impressed!"

I explained to Justin that I would like for the job to be completed in three stages. He gave an estimate and prioritized the jobs. He completed the after he swept the chimney. "We have Frontpoint at two houses. We had been looking for ways to cut our monthly expenses (Frontpoint is approx. $100 per month total), so I called them to find out what I could do. They informed me that I was under contract for another year, and that I cannot get out of the contract without an early termination fee that is equal to the cost of the service. I'm a little disappointed, because the upfront cost of the system was very expensive ($1,000+) for each house, so it seems odd that I would get sucked into this contract. Nevertheless, I forgot that I signed up for this with them. My calendar is marked for the day that my service ends, and I will be switching to a company that charges about half of what they do. They have OK customer service and are very responsive, but the wireless system had some issues with reception in my house due to a fireplace, and then they didn't want to work with me to get that resolved. They're OK, but I can't really recommend them."

"Dave came out to do an estimate at the time scheduled.. He climbed up on the roof and said I needed some nails caulked where water was seeping through in the rain. Since it was a small repair he did the work while on site. He also told me I should contact someone to look at masonry on my fireplace and I appreciate that info since I can't see upcoming maintenance issues on my roof."
