"Very nice and professional. I had this so e years ago by another service company. They were excellent, floors looked like just. Early installed. I do not think Sanifect did a fair job but still made a big difference in how my floors ended up. They also changed pricing on me several times. What they quoted is not what I ended up paying."

Small jobs welcome

"The floor polyurethane coat was a good job. But I had them sand out some scratches on my steps and the color they put down was very uneven, lot of stain got on the wood trim next to the steps, you can also see their sanding marks on the steps. So my steps look like my kids stained them not a professional. I havent contacted them yet to complain, but I will."

Small jobs welcome

"From the very first quote to the final cleanup, TPT was professional, punctual, and incredibly detail-oriented. They showed up on time every day, protected all my furniture and existing floors perfectly, and left the space spotless each evening. The installation itself was flawless — the planks clicked together seamlessly with zero gaps, and they even took the extra time to perfectly match the pattern around doorways and transitions. The new laminate looks beautiful and feels incredibly durable. It completely transformed the space, giving it a high-end look at a very reasonable price. I’ve already had several compliments from family and friends, and it’s holding up great with my two kids and dog running around on it daily. I would (and already have) recommend this contractor to anyone looking for quality laminate work. They’re true professionals who stand behind their craftsmanship. 5 stars all the way!"

"SQI came out as scheduled. Led by manager Dalton Montoney. The crew worked as one. The process was quitter than we anticipated. Our main concern was dust. Their vacuum system is second to none, dust control was not a concern. The process was explained step by step. Any question was answered respectfully. Our concrete floor looks incredible. If you want new looking floors done by a skilled, friendly, professional crew, that fits your budget. Give Dalton Montoney a call at SQI. They will take care of your project needs. Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

If you have a dark carpet and are going for a lighter look, you should replace it, rather than dyeing, since you can only go darker with dye. If your stains are too heavy to mask with carpet dye or the carpet is more than 10 years old, you should also consider replacing it.

You can buy inexpensive kitchen flooring off the shelf at most home improvement stores with the best prices offered by big-box chain stores. Be aware, though, that not all flooring materials are suitable for DIY installation. Most flooring contractors can buy your flooring at a discount, so be sure to check with your contractor before buying your flooring materials.

After carpet removal, prepare for new flooring by assessing the subfloor. You will want to address any imperfections to create a smooth and level base for installation. Remember, proper subfloor preparation is crucial for optimal new flooring results. Consider repairing and replacing damaged areas for a stable foundation. For both wood and concrete subfloors, consider sanding to remove any debris or adhesives remaining thoroughly.

Clean with a damp mop, avoid excess water, and use furniture pads to prevent scratches.

To clean a subfloor after removing carpet, start by removing any leftover debris, such as stuck-on underlay, nails, or staples. Next, thoroughly vacuum the subfloor to eliminate dust, dirt, and loose particles. If adhesive residue remains, you can use an adhesive remover, a scraper, or a sander to gently lift it off. Finally, clean the surface by mopping or wiping it down with a damp rag and allow it to dry completely. This preparation is essential for ensuring new flooring adheres properly and to prevent bumps or wrinkles from forming.
