"The owner of the company is very professional and honest. He responds quickly to all and any inquiries and does a very thorough job inspecting the project and providing a quote for the job. I hired him to run a gas line from the basement into my kitchen. I decided to replace the existing electric stove with a new gas stove. The workers came on time, did their job extremely well and cleaned after themselves. We had to disconnect the outside gas line while working on the project. In doing so the heater in my boiler went out. I called the owner of the company to ask for advice how to re-light it. He guided me through it and called back later on to make sure that everything was in a working condition. He also looked at my natural wood burning chimney and gave me advice how to fix little odds and ends without hiring any company. I applaud this man for his hard word and dedication as well as for his honesty and integrity. I highly recommend the Chimney Guy, LLC to anyone who is in need of such services. Both fireplaces required extensive work to adapt them to the new gas appliances.  The company installers worked for several days to configure them, including climbing to the top of our very high Victorian chimney to run the vent for the upstairs fireplace.  The upstairs fireplace also required the removal of a considerable amount of masonry material to allow it to accept the insert.  The installers were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.  They cleaned up when they were done.  We did have a little trouble with the upstairs insert when a vent fan would not come on.  This turned out to be a combination of a problem with the fan motor and a switch that would not allow the fan to come on unless the insert was very hot.  Emily came out and fixed the motor, and she recommended that the switch be bypassed to allow us to control the vent manually.  We took her recommendation, and it worked.  Both fireplaces provide good heat, and they fit in very well with our Victorian décor.  We were satisfied with all aspects of the job.

"The items shipped were all in working order. The items were easily installed via a sticky tape attached to all the sensors. Some, like the motion detector, were just placed on a flat surface;ie. fireplace mantle. All worked correctly. The remote door sensors are great;I use them to turn off / on the alarm system before entering or after leaving the house. The control unit besides handling the security system , displays local weather - which is handy."
