We chose Gilbert's (Lennox) for our replacement central A/C. They were highly recommended by a friend and a neighbor. They were right!! We had gotten 4 estimates before hiring Gilbert's. Their price was the best! Their yearly service/maintenance contract is lower than their competitors. Todd and associates are professional, questions were answered, and any hiccup was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Two thumbs up!!!

Their plumber installed a new 3/4 hp sump pump and fixed leaking outlet pipe in yard.  3 hours labor

Excellent Customer Service! Helped us get our heat back on fast and at a fair price and did not take advantage of us in our time of desperation. A special Thank You to Todd and Tanner, because of you Gilbert Heating has my future business. ***Here's how it all went down: I woke up in the morning to find out we had no heat so I called the company whose sticker was on my furnace - Big Mistake. They sent a technician out and diagnosed the problem as a bad inducer. The quote to replace the inducer was $700. At that price it made me consider putting that money towards the purchase of a new furnace to replace my 12 year old furnace. Which is what I decided to do at which point this other company advised me that they would not be able to install the new furnace until Friday/Saturday. I didn't have heat, so I asked what I what am I supposed to do about heat until Friday/Saturday. They offered to replace the part in my old furnace for to get me through the next 3 or 4 days, until they could install my new furnace, for an additional $150 to the cost of the new furnace. Basically, renting me the part for 3 or 4 days for $150. So, that is when I called Gilbert Heating and another company (who never did call me back) to see if they could install a new furnace sooner to avoid this additional $150 charge. Todd from Gilbert Heating called me back almost immediatly and made arrangements to come right over and quote the furnace replacement. He looked at the furnace and said he would love to sell me a new furnace but I don't need one. He said our furnace looked clean and just needs a new inducer which he could have installed same day for $450 ($250 less than the company I paid $80 to diagnose the problem). Tanner showed up an hour later and replaced the inducer and our heat was back on. Calling Gilbert Heating saved our family vacation scheduled for April. Thank You Gilbert Heating!

Both fireplaces required extensive work to adapt them to the new gas appliances.  The company installers worked for several days to configure them, including climbing to the top of our very high Victorian chimney to run the vent for the upstairs fireplace.  The upstairs fireplace also required the removal of a considerable amount of masonry material to allow it to accept the insert.  The installers were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.  They cleaned up when they were done.  We did have a little trouble with the upstairs insert when a vent fan would not come on.  This turned out to be a combination of a problem with the fan motor and a switch that would not allow the fan to come on unless the insert was very hot.  Emily came out and fixed the motor, and she recommended that the switch be bypassed to allow us to control the vent manually.  We took her recommendation, and it worked.  Both fireplaces provide good heat, and they fit in very well with our Victorian décor.  We were satisfied with all aspects of the job. 

We recently moved to Huron and the house we purchased has a gas water heating system which we have never had any dealings with.  When it seemed to take a very long time to heat the house we were concerned.  I called Gilbert Heating and Air Conditioning because there were tags on the furnace showing that they had previously serviced it.  Even though I had never used this company before, they scheduled me for 8:00 am the next morning.  This is a much better turnaround time than I have ever received before from any service company.  A technician named Tanner showed up on time and was very helpful.  Although there turned out not to be anything wrong with the furnace, Tanner gave us some tips and explained the heating method to us.

They did very good job. They were very thorough. Mike Croft, the owner, was very professional he looked what I need to be done and he gives good solution. I would use their services and recommend them to anybody.

I called them at 4 o'clock on a Friday night and they showed up by 4:30 which is pretty much like I called and they hoped in the truck and came over. Then the service tech was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the furnace. I will absolutely be using Gilbert's when we decide to replace this furnace in the future.

Whole process from initial phone call to completed job was professional, friendly, prompt, and clean.  Would recommend to anyone needing furnace/AC work done.

IT IS A VERY TEDIOUS JOB INVOLVING REMOVAL ON SEVERAL PIPES AND  THE FREON AND THEN WELDING IN A NEW SWITCHING VALVE AND  REFILLING THE FREON.  THIS IS NOT A FUN JOB ON A HOT DAY.

The furnace had quit on one of the coldest day of the year. I already
had a frozen pipe break when I called. Gilbert sent a man out very
quickly and had the furnace fixed in short order. The serviceman was
very polite and professional. I highly recommend Gilbert Heating and Air
Conditioning.
