The odor from the coating was pretty strong and took a few days to clear from our bathroom because the bathroom does not have a window that opens If we had been able to open a window in the bathroom the odor would probably have dissipated faster."

"They did a phenomenal job. They had to remove a footstool that was attach to the tile on the wall. We have a glass shower door, they were able to get the job without having the glass door remove. Which it would very expensive to do Also, replace tiles and grout. Replace our ceiling, the shower was leaking into our ceiling. Which they replace as well."

"Cabinets were high quality, workers were friendly but under stress due to what they called a work model. They ran into a couple of things that slowed down the work and took unnecessary short cuts. Dry wall was not all replaced where needed, dry wall mudding was a little sloppy and sanding was sloppy due to pressures of time. For the price that was paid the over all product was less the desired. A leak in a plumbing connection caused water damage to a downstairs bathroom ceiling and the repair was sloppy and the ceiling was left unpainted and spotted. The staff was under undue pressure to finish on Friday as the end of the week came so a new job could be started elsewhere the following Monday. While the workers were friendly and attentive the completed job has numerous flaws that are visible. The electrical work was excellent as was the installation of cabinets and counter tops. Until this company upgrades the over quality of work and allows extra time to properly complete a quality job when unforseen issues arise I would not recommend and felt we were overpriced due to the overall quality of work performed."

"This is the second time I have had Konkus countertops. They were wonderful each time. The salesman was great to work with and patient as I tried to make my selections. On installation day the installers encountered a problem with the measurement. After we insisted that the wall didn't move, two other gentlemen, including the installation manager, came out to determine what happened. He discovered, clear as day, that our contractor had moved the wall, to accommodate a previous mistake he had made after Konkus had taken their measurements. They came up with a solution and had the installers come back late in the day to complete the job. The fact that it was a Friday evening on a beautiful spring day did not affect the quality of their work or their attitudes. Everyone was very professional and I would use them again."

"Our 1986 vintage kitchen wall cabinet finally fell apart and needed to be replaced. We contacted nearly every cabinet company in Central Ohio but found that no one could match the style / finish of our old cabinet. We then thought, why not "repair" our cabinet versus buying a new one? I then discovered Troyer Transformations. Samuel Troyer came to our house and inspected our damaged cabinet. Samuel confirmed that they could fix it and provided me a very reasonable price quote. One week later, Samuel's brother, Jerry, arrived to re-install the cabinet. Jerry showed us everything he did to re-build and re-enforce the cabinet before he re-hung it and re-installed the doors. He completed the job in less than an hour! The cabinet is absolutely beautiful! We are so grateful to have met Samuel and Jerry! There are a few ways to remove calcium buildup in your pipes, but the most natural option involves vinegar, baking soda, and boiling water. To use this method, pour 1/2 cup of vinegar down the drain you're trying to clear, then follow it up with 1/2 cup of baking soda. Place a rag over the drain to create a light seal and leave it for 30 minutes. Remove the rag, then pour a pot of boiling water into the drain. After the water drains, wipe everything down with a sponge.

You can cut food on tough, scratch-resistant granite countertops. However, these hard surfaces can quickly dull your knife blades, and continual cutting in the same spot can eventually lead to marks forming and compromising the protective sealant. As with any countertop material, it’s always best to use a chopping board.

Onyx countertops have pros and cons. If you seal it properly and take care not to damage it, it can make a good countertop surface. However, it's more often used in bathrooms, where it’s less likely to sustain damage. Having an onyx kitchen countertop is possible, but you’ll need to take extra care not to burn, stain, or otherwise damage the material.
