They promptly and professionally came to make a sink change. I was very pleased with the work they performed. Thank you to Drew & Aaron, of # 5 Sincerely, Gail G.

Updated review from previous review left on 8/7/19. The GM Harry was made aware of our situation and immediately acted to remedy the confusion, communication and went above and beyond. He found out the suppliers wouldn’t have the materials for our countertops for at least another month. He could’ve just told us that; but no, he went to a competitor of DMG, hours away, and bought their materials to fabricate our countertops. He even had his fabricators work all weekend to prepare everything and promptly installed them yesterday. His team of installers - Pat, Johnnie, and Rich (Installation Manager), came out and installed our beautiful quartz countertops. The team were professionals in every shape imaginable and truly delivered a high class product! Plumbing was completed today and we now have a fully functional kitchen! I was debating of canceling our job, but after working with DMG before I knew the finish product would be great. I can’t thank Harry, Pat, Johnnie and Rich enough for restoring our faith and demonstrating why they are a great company to work with! DMG has customers for life with us!

The worst. No coordination, last minute changes without regards to the client. Last minute change of sink, late 2 hours on install, damaged 3 walls, scratched floor during demo, no coordination w plumber. When I called at 4:30 pm, the management was gone because they come in at 7 am. When I contacted them they had an attitude. Thank god I hired a contractor to supervise their work, otherwise it would have been worst. Low quality design, too many pieces when it according to my contractor just a couple of seams. A week after I finally spoke, I still have not heard back. Stay away!

I'm leaving this very short and brief. Worst customer service ever. Had to hire an attorney to make it right. They were awful to deal with until after the fact and now every time I write a review complaining about my service they now wanna make it better just so I remove my review.

We had very good information at the beginning of the project. The work was done quickly and on time, and the results were excellent.

Do not, we repeat, NOT use this company. They provided very low quality mable that is pitted and getting worse by the day. We wipe up grit every day even after sealing it several times. No food is safe on this surface because bacteria and other harmful organisms live in the many pits. To make things even worse, their approach to customer service which is to bully customers. The installers had to replace the first piece because it was fabricated so poorly. Everything about the granite and the staff were terrible!

Thank you very much for your marvelous help during my recent kitchen and bathroom renovations. I cannot praise my installers Chuck, Jason and Dylan enough, they were so hard working and in the end made my rooms look beautiful! Your sales representatives Hope and Julie were true professionals. And Bob Claypool , who reconnected my plumbing, even though it was not an easy feat, made it all seem effortless! I would recommend Distinctive Marble and Granite without question.

Huge impact! I only wish that I had had more info about the granite I chose and its imperfections before templating and installation.

Great selection and good prices. My problem was the customer service. I went initially by myself to see what they had and a woman assisted me. A week later I got a follow up call from a man named Patrick. I He could not answer my basic questions. He gave the phone to Lauren, who was very knowledgeable. My husband and I then returned the next day to look at the pieces. Lauren was not available, so we were assisted by yet another woman, who was very helpful. When my husband and I were walking back inside after looking at the slabs outside, the original saleswoman who had helped me looked at our current sales woman and rolled her eyes and pointed to her watch. We relayed this to Lauren who apologized. We will not be using this company when we re-do our kitchen and full baths because of this experience.

I remodeled my kitchen and picked my granite countertops through DMG. They were professional both on the showroom floor as I picked out my granite and then looked at the templates on the actual piece of stone, but also when they came out to measure and then install the countertops. One countertop had a lip that was 3/4 of an inch too long, and they sent Kole and Pat out the next morning to fix the problem. No quibbling, no hassles.

They did a fantastic job. Very professional at their showroom and very patient while we selected the new granite slab. Punctual for measurements and for installation. Installers did a very good job, were very careful with the tearout of the old counter tops and with everything else in the kitchen. We were very pleased with the final results.

Be far the best part of this company is their installers. The men who put the counters in and do the actual work are WONDERFUL. They were very quick scheduling the install. They came out on a Thursday and found that my sink cabinet couldn't support the load. This was due to the entire bottom being rotted out from damage before I bought the house. The installers were so kind when I was upset and talked me through what I could do to fix it. Once I got the cabinet replaced they came back within two days to install again. The gentlemen who came this time were just as wonderful and got everything in. Their level of knowledge and understanding was phenomenal. I would've said the experience wasn't perfect, but because of the installers I couldn't be happier. I do hope the company understands how valuable these employees are! I would recommend Distinctive Marble and the process with Lowes wasn't bad either.

DMG installed our granite in November of 2013. In October/November of 2014 the seam connecting two of the slabs along our counter started separating and the slabs became unlevel. I reached out to DMG only to find out that at that point the 1 year warranty was up (even though the issue start BEFORE the warranty period was over) and that I'd be charged $250 for them to come fix it. We spent THOUSANDS to have the granite fabbed and installed in the first place and now they're going to nickel and dime us for $250 for an issue that should never have happened?
Bad news when you don't even have enough faith in your workmanship to give it more than a year warranty and even worse business practice to not honor a warranty when the issue began during the warranty period. Do NOT use them. The person I contacted wouldn't go any further than repeating "sorry I can't honor the warranty".
DMG - please feel free to reach out to me again if you want to fix this situation. You have my email address.

They were very responsive, called right away to schedule measuring. People very friendly and efficient. Got great deal on boneyard remnant piece. Salesperson very good , knowledgable. Two men installed and did great job and cleaned up. I will use them all the time for other baths. They did our kitchen years ago and we LOVE the granite and they did great job on a complicated countertop!

Their selection of marble and granite seems second to none. Our sales person seemed fine until a couple of emails indicated that he hadn't gotten us to sign off of more than one thing. We went to pick it up when it was promised but they hadn't put the right edge on it. This is where it became a problem. It was right before Christmas and they wouldn't fix it right away, even though it was their mistake and my contractor was waiting on it to finish the remodel. It took them a full week extra to make the edge right. It's a small vanity with only two finished edges, so I don't know why it couldn't have been done more quickly. I had more than a dozen calls and emails with our sales person and finally called and left a long message with the sales manager who never got back to me. In the end, I contacted the owner, who by all accounts sounds like a great guy and a good business man. The sales manager finally at that point contacted me and we arrived at a mutually satisfactory compensation. In the end, I'm happy with the sink and counter. They look fabulous. And by the way, the installers were terrific!

I liked the sales/design process. We went there and the woman who we interacted with made us enjoy the process. We encountered several difficulties through the installation process due to manufacturing errors, but the team at Distinctive continued to work through it (with a smile!) until everything was corrected. They arrived on time each day and they were able to work to make things right and I did not have to overly push the issue. The job took longer than expected, but the finished product looks great and we get many compliments on the work! I do recommend them to friends and family.

I will keep this as short as possible.
1. 47% "F" rating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purchased thru Lowe's and this is who they use exclusively. I should have checked!
2. They did not cut an entire piece of countertop. "Somebody missed it". Well, that's funny, I have to sign off on everything and once I do, my deal is done.
3. Three times I was promised a phone call before they came out. 0 for 3.
4. My large island quartz has faint black lines thru it that look like rollers from an assenbly line. They are not able to remove it.
5. Almost all pieces have 5mm dull circles in MANY areas. They are not able to remove these.
6. When the installer realized he was missing a piece, he made up some story that the glue wouldn't dry right and stepped outside to make the call to find out what happened to that piece. I requested that he not be the one to bring
back the final piece. Guess who brought the final piece? I called him out on it and told him I did not appreciate him lying to me.
7. My contractor told me that one of the wooden sink supports was completely cracked. He went on to say there was no "pilot hole" drilled first and the installer screwed it in too tight. None of the 6 supports had a pilot hole drilled in first. When I questioned my contractor as to whether the installer would have realized he said it would be impossible to miss. When I questioned the installer about this, he said there were 6 supports AND it's glued in. No worries. Well, not until the countertop cracks from lack of support and you tell me it's not warranteed b/c it wasn't supported properly. I asked him, "Well if it doesn't matter, then why do you put the supports in anyway???" If you're going to try and lie/b.s me, you have to be smarter than me and he wasn't.
8. When I called about the missing piece and told my rep about the damages, her response about the missing piece was "well, it looks like they are going to be coming out for the damages anyway." Yes, she really did say that.
9. I impored their "expert" to expedite the discussion "with the manufacturer" as my entire kitchen remodel is on hold until this issue is resolved. A full week later and I have heard nothing.

Very good work. craftsman ship and workman ship was very good. Nathan S. did a very good job helping me pick out colors and styles that would work with my kitchen. There is one seem in the counter top and it is very difficult to find even with a flash light.

I first discussed our kitchen remodel project with their representative at the Columbus Home and Garden Show.. I paid a deposit to receive a special discount for buying at the Home Show. A representative contacted my wife and me and we scheduled a time to discuss the project at the showroom. Long story short, it was two years until we were able to remodel the kitchen. My account was assigned to two to three representatives over the two year period of time, but someone from the company always kept in touch with us. There was no pressure to complete the sale and the representatives were patient calling every month or two to see if we were still going to take on the project. We selected a product that was top of their line, Cambria quartz made in Canada. During this time the company actually moved their location, but kept in contact with us. Well, finally the project began and the company sent a representative to measure and meet with my contractor. He was right on time. The product was ordered and came in promptly. Installation was scheduled when my contractor could be on site. . Several men came to install the countertop and backsplash. I was not home, but my wife and contractor commented that they really knew what they were doing and the installation was flawless. Even after two years the company honored the original sale price and applied my original deposit, The Cambria countertop and backsplash is now the centerpiece of a gorgeous new kitchen. .

I found a quartz product that I wanted to use in a remodeled kitchen. Because the product was on sale elsewhere I appreciated Distinctive's price-matching policy. The order was placed for the product. Although I knew what the counter top material looked like, and I knew what the 40/60 undermounted sink I was purchasing looked like, I was not alerted to what they looked like together.
The man who came out to measure the area for the template was timely, efficient and courteous.
There seemed to be a significant number of communication problems regarding appointments for product delivery. They would say they were coming one day at a certain time, and then change it several times that day, or we would have to call the office to find out when they were coming because no one showed up when they said they would. The sales person was awful about returning telephone calls or messages on a timely basis. She didn't seem to know what she was doing some of the time.
When the product arrived and was installed we were able to see the sink with the counter-top for the first time. Visually we could see that the angle in the top area cut out for the sink started too early. As a result there wasn't any reveal in the left sink close to the wall. It looked very "off" and unattractive. It took a number of times to get the workmen to understand what the problem was and that the finished product was unacceptable. (The 3 men were friendly and efficient workers on the installation but they didn't always understand design concepts.) They workmen communicated the problem to the sales person. To make a long story short the manufacturer's template seemed to be the issue but it took 2 slabs of quartz to be cut wrong to figure that out. The sales manager became involved and he made a trip to the house. He recognized how unsightly the finished quartz countertop product was. He worked to get a new template designed that was visually satisfactory. That template was used in producing the new counter top. It is now in and we are very satisfied with the way it looks.
I would recommend anyone buying a counter top and a sink to have the company show you EXACTLY what the countertop template will look like with the sink before committing to buy the product.

While I have an Angie's List membership, I went to this place without reading reviews since it was close to home and we needed to make a decision quickly...WHAT A MISTAKE! Read the reviews of others and you will see the same issues I dealt with. Sales process went fine, but it was all downhill from there. Our sales person, Aaron, was not at all responsive or helpful. He would not return voice mail. He lost the first paperwork that our contractor dropped off. He wrote down my wife's email wrong. They cut the slab wrong. One excuse after another...
Finally I had had enough...I stopped in to talk with a manager. Of coarse, no manager was available so they brought Aaron back out. He saw nothing wrong with any of the lack of communication, but promised that it would be ready the next morning at 9AM. My contractor shows up at 9AM...guess what...not ready. So called the sales manager (who was in a meeting) and left a voice mail. Guess what...no call back.
The one small sliver of hope was that they did deliver the piece to my house later that day since it was not done.
We were using this as a test run to see if we wanted to use them for our kitchen remodel that is coming up. I think you guess the answer...
