"Crew of 7 worked 7 am (dawn) to 5 pm (dusk) in early December, hard-working & smooth working team, with foreman on site + project manager that checked in daily. Foreman checked in with me regularly as work progressed. Founder of this longtime family business came at the end to review job and receive payment. Removed old roof, replaced plywood underlayment, flashing as needed. Found source of ALL the leaks, installed flashing where it had been missing to prevent future issues. Looks GREAT!. Minor issue: quality of wood trim that had to be removed & then replaced; needs carpenter skills, not a strong part of their skill set, so I will have that upgraded in the spring."

"DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS DISHONEST COMPANY! I’m 65 years old and dealing with this shady group has been the worst customer experience of my life - by a long shot. As the saying goes, the fish rots from the head down and this group of liars is a textbook example. I’ve been either lied to, or misled by, every person I interacted with at “5 Star Improvements”. Starting at the head of the fish with an owner who said “all of my guys are certified” (and then schemed with the worst project scheduler I’ve ever dealt to send an email to me with a fake training certificate attachment (that the installer never saw before!)); to the person who answers the chat line (“I can’t answer that online, I’ll forward it to the office and we’ll get back to you”); to a receptionist who deceived me into thinking I was complaining about the company to a Jacuzzi Bath Remodel employee; to yet another employee who told me the owners were not in the office (“they’re both out of office and at a conference tomorrow”) when I demanded to talk to one."

SUNNY DAYS PAINTING was created in 1997 by Brian Beachner. Brian started out painting in the early nineties as a “weekend warrior” helping a childhood friend with his own painting business. Sunny Days has been growing since the beginning with a client list that includes well known doctors, lawyers, THE Mayor, Deputy Mayor, city councilman, county legislators, business owners, fellow contractors, and many, many homeowners all over NY state. Our crew of employees represent over 70 years experience in painting and home improvement and are all dedicated to their craft as artisans. We have been recognized as a preferred contractor by the LANDMARK SOCIETY and have worked closely with several neighborhood associations. Most Recently Brian made the tough decision to leave the business due to health and family reasons.
