"5 for sure. The installers were great. Installers did a great job installing the triple sump pump system. System is working well. Won’t really know if all the capabilities of the system will work until Disaster strikes. Because we have had the same system in a different house for the last 20 years, I don’t have any concerns that it will work flawlessly."

However, if you notice it draining slowly or an odor from your drainpipes, it’s best to clear the clogged drain and maintain it more often. The P-trap (or S-trap in older homes) under your shower is designed to prevent sewer gas from coming back up, so you shouldn’t normally experience foul odors coming from your shower drain.
