He came recommended by our architect, and we hired Dave to build our custom 3br, 3ba modern home in the woods of Woodstock, NY. He was head and shoulders above the other contractors we interviewed in terms of thoroughness, communication, availability and ease of collaboration. The home he built was within 5% of our agreed-upon budget (and that 5% wasn't even his fault — it was unknowable site complications) and we did it 3-months faster than anyone else quoted us was possible. Dave navigated massive supply chain issues without a single delay to the project through his organization and foresight. "Gene and the boys are amazing contractors and are our go to when there is work that needs to be done on our home. They remodeled our basement, and did a custom builtin to house our 180 gal fish tank. They removed a wall to make the basement more open space. Not only that but they did it cleanly, efficiently and in an amazing turn around time. They also more recently helped to fix our crown molding around our fridge in order for us to buy a bigger one and it looks exactly like the rest of our kitchen. "Can’t pay enough compliments to John and his guys. They did a great job overall and managed the project very smoothly through the entire permitting process. From the very beginning it was apparent John was detail oriented and most importantly, concerned about delivering a quality product to his customers. John is very hands on, and his approach of shopping with the homeowner to make sure everything will “work” during installation I think is a key component of job success and customer satisfaction. The guys worked straight thru with work only interrupted by permits/inspections. He involved and asked us about anything that came up along the way that we had not previously talked about. Guys were very professional, being respectful of our home and working neatly/efficiently. I highly recommend John without hesitation, and will be using him in the future when we renovate our Master Bathroom."

"Impeccable workmanship: we are totally happy with the results. Derek also professionally guided us to a custom rail solution that no one else suggested. His work and team were professional and friendly, and they made sure all of our punchlist items were addressed. Derek even fixed some roof shingles he noticed were awry! Derek sometimes failed to let us know in advance when issues were going to adversely affect his timing. But, he always followed up, responded to our questions and did extra work—often after business hours—to catch up. We found Derek extremely easy and professional to work with, and we are extremely happy with the results. We also plan to contact him if/when we do further work on the house."

"This review is for experience of getting quote only - Pros: - Responsive by text and accessible by email - A - Reasonable pricing for some work, though was able to accommodate overall budget (~15K) - C Cons: - Attitude: came off as dismissive towards "small" projects (15K), lacking professionalism - D - May not be best option if looking for design ideas or services beyond just paying for labor Got quotes from Quality Renovations on two separate occasions. Both times, the liaison was responsive via email and phone/text. However, ended up not going with them due to 1) lack of follow up the first time and 2) poor attitude the second time. Quotes provided were reasonable for the most part (may not be the best price you are going to get piecemeal, but able to stay within a reasonable budget), so could be right contractor if you have a job where you are just looking for someone to do the work. Not your best options if you are also looking for suggestions for design ideas/suggestions or beyond bare bones service (attitude was dismissive toward 'small projects'). While renovations in general can be a painful process, and level of customer service varies widely, no one appreciate poor attitude especially when customer was very reasonable and accommodating in requests throughout the process."
