"I had received several quotes for this project and I chose remodeling concepts because contracter Derek was the most organized, prepared, and professional of all the candidates. Additionally, he had the most realistic understanding of the job and its potential challenges. His price was also very fair and competitive. As the project moved forward, my initial impression was continuously validated. "Tom was a pleasure to deal with. He arrived on time, did a complete walk through and explained the process. I like Toms system of charging by the hour ( $45 per man) rather than an over inflated number guaranteed to protect the contractor. He did not mark up the materials either. He and his crew (which included his son who ran the project) worked diligently, they were punctual and professional. The completed job was a work of art. Tom communicated daily and was always available to answer any questions. From the time I first met Tom I was impressed by his sincerity, knowledge and honesty.
