"Install crew was perfect. No dust, no mess. Complete cleanup, and a perfect airtight install. For years we have had winter management strategies. Closing off room on the north side... and running space heater in those rooms during use. After installation of the ProEdge windows these rooms are as warm as the rest of the house. AMAZING! Recent warm days prove the advantage of triple glazed low-E windows, too. Nice and cool inside. I searched for years for new windows that met MY specifications . "JMT construction was the best contractor I have ever worked with and I have worked with a lot of them. From the quote process which was short, sweet and to the point. It only took about 20 minutes for the quote and Jim explained everything. Other quotes we got from national brands took 2+ hours and were not as informative. The quote was very reasonable and was so much cheaper than other companies for the same windows!! Jim explained everything and was extremely diligent with communication. He would always notify us when he was on his way and when he was done for the day and what the next step was. He answered all my questions and concerns. The work was done quickly, in a professional manner, and they did a great job of cleaning up the mess from the job. Jim also refused to install two of the windows because he did not like how they opened and closed. Most contractors would have just thrown them in and left the problem with the home owner. Jim did not. He ordered new windows and put them in as soon as they arrived, at no additional cost or inconvenience. Jim also took the time to show me some water damage he discovered during demolition. Most contractors would not have said anything because it had nothing to do with the windows but instead was because of missing gutters. Jim offered to repair the damage at an amazing price and it was done to perfection. I would hire JMT to do work on any of my properties."

"April 2021 We bought a house last fall and spent our first winter in it. During this time, we could clearly see and feel how uninsulated our windows were. Some original to the build of the house. I would be sitting at my desk working and see my curtains move and constantly feel the cold air on my fingers. It was a no brainer this was going to be our first major home improvement/project for our new house. We talked to two different companies and decided to go with C. Michael Exteriors for several reasons. Our salesperson Gary Langdon did a wonderful job explaining the process of how the windows were manufactured and showing us the very different factors of these windows from other companies. The multiple layers of insulating are a big factor for us. There are a several choices on colour, grides and type of style window you are looking for. We needed to replace seven windows. Two larger windows, converting one from a bay to regular, two basement, and three â normalâ room size. Each window is made to specifically to fit your needs and made here in the USA. Gary assured us the ease of the project from the skilled workers coming to put in the windows. This was a big concern of ours. We wanted to make sure everything was picked up and clean. Gary assured us the workers are very professional and will go through all the workings of the windows with us once completed. He was not wrong! We got a call saying our windows were ready and could they come that week (a few weeks earlier than estimated ). Chance and his crew showed up right on time that day and were all very professional and courteous. Each worker that came had a specific job on each window and this made the process go so fast and smooth. You can tell they have been doing this together a long time. It was flawless and like a â well-oiled machineâ . They were completed with in a few hours. Not days or a whole day, a few hours! The professionalism from Gary and all the skilled workers is definitely a reason to do business with C. Michael Exteriors. We highly recommend for any project that they can accommodate. "I had a small but complicated, hard to access, and structurally essential repair job on a 60-year-old concrete deck attached to my 280-year-old Pennsylvania limestone farmhouse. I contacted several masons listed for my area on Home Advisor, and included Mr. Grady as a long shot -- I read about his expertise with historical structures and wished I had access to such an expert craftsman, but I didn't think he'd be interested in my teeny job and assumed I wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. He was the first one to return my call and to look at the job, and I thought his price was fair. I believe now it was way more than fair, considering the time he spent. He did extensive research, going over a structural engineer's report I had done previously on the deck and even examining the original architectural drawings and materials invoices from 1959. He showed up at least three times to complete the repair in stages, and has been back a half a dozen times since then to check the job -- and my location is not exactly in his neighborhood. He accepted only enough payment in advance to pay for lodging for himself and his assistant when they stayed nearby one night in order to be there early the next morning. He gave and continues to give free advice about preserving my stone house and patio. If you prod him a little, he might even share some of his personal philosophy, earned over a lifetime of work that is clearly more of an art form than a job to him. Overall, I'd say you can hire one of many competent contractors and get an adequate job, or you can hire Mr. Grady and get superior work by someone who cares about your property as much as you do."
