"Williams Paving was everything you’d want in pavers. Bill the owner came out at a convenient time for me, measured the driveway himself, and sent me a quote. We arranged a time for the paving and he kept an eye on the weather. Bill worked along side his crew and they were a hardworking and efficient group. It was really nice to see the way in which these folks worked together. They were very thorough. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and left in beautiful condition. I cannot praise them enough! If you wish to break up a cracked or broken paver for removal, you can use a hammer or mallet and a chisel to fragment the paver. As you’re working, be careful not to disturb surrounding pavers; the key is to work slowly and steadily and remove the broken pieces gently. You should also wear a mask and goggles to ensure that no dust gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth as you work.

Think of the street as a way to capture all the elements on either side of the road, including the road—a street encompasses the homes or other buildings, the trees, and the road of a given area as defined by the beginning and end of the street on a map. You’ll first need to install a base underneath your pavers for extra stability and drainage. Otherwise, the pavers can sink into the ground, and you’ll have to reinstall them. Also, the porous material can get clogged with dirt and debris, requiring cleaning and power washing more frequently than standard paving materials and methods. Although permeable paving is not ideal for highways, airports, and other surfaces supporting heavy traffic and machinery, it is suitable for regular residential driveways.
