"The guys from Always Green are fantastic. I’ve been using their Tree cutting services for many years as I purchased a property with extreme overgrowth. They were always punctual, respectful, clean, and their prices are fair. I’ve recommended them to many friends and family. All had good experience with them. Pruning trees during the summer can be a bad idea because the new growth will take place during the hottest months of the year, which can stress your tree out. Similarly, pruning during the early fall can be a bad idea, too, because you’d be stimulating new growth when most trees are aiming to go dormant. 

Pruning recommendations will vary by the type of tree, but generally, waiting until winter to prune your trees is a good idea.

In most cases, leaving tree roots underground is not a problem if the stump has been removed or ground below the soil. However, some larger roots may decompose, leaving dents in your soil.
