"It started off well, but the tile was incredibly substandard. When I voiced my concern, Paul refused to fix the work, apologize, or reimburse me for the cost of labor to remove it, purchase new tile, and have it installed by a professional. He is blaming me for not purchasing bullnose tile, but the issue is the layout and horrible cuts. Furthermore, due to our own naïveté, we had overpaid Paul for work not yet completed, which he refuses to reimburse us now that we’ve decided to part ways. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves."

Did not clean up until I finally asked to clean up dust from plaster. Asked for more cash to buy paint and supplies in between job. Then asked for $3,000 over estimate in addition to money already paid. Never responded to request to review invoice. Very unprofessional and would not recommend to anyone."

If you’re installing a smaller reach-in closet, a permit may not be required, but always check with your local municipality and consult a closet designer or builder.
