"Chris did an excellent job repairing three doors that needed adjusting. He realigned locks, strike plates and ensured there was a good seal when closed. He also pointed out a bare wood strip on the side of the door that was swelling in the humidity making the door stick. He planed the edge and painted it so that the swelling would no longer be an issue. He cleaned up and charged a reasonable amount for the work he did. I have already hired him to do some additional work. I highly recommend this company."

As you can imagine, it’s not very sturdy and might buckle under your blue jean collection, so you should only use it if you’re storing very light items. 

While you may hear entryways referred to as mudrooms, there are some differences. Entryways are often the entrance point to the house from a guest’s perspective, which is why they’re off the front door. Mudrooms are less formal entrances that are more for the people living in the home, which is why mudrooms are often attached to garages or the side or rear of the house. Entryways are also more formally decorated, while mudrooms are often all about utility.

Bump-out additions can add some space to a closet without requiring any significant structural work.
