"Arthur gave us a fair and competitive estimate and was able to start work quickly thereafter. He and his team did an excellent job gutting and totally remodeling two bathrooms and a closet as well as redoing some of the wood flooring, moving vents, and moving hallways. Arthur himself was at the home everyday and did the important work himself. He also went the extra mile in helping us with small projects around the major project as they came up. He was extremely responsive in provided us with timely updates. When complications occurred (due to the house having not been renovated in 40 years) he was clear and helpful in keeping the project on schedule. He was extremely honest and I trusted him to be alone in my house for weeks on end with his team. I would/plan to work with Arthur again in the future for my home renovation projects."

"First off I live in Queens not Long Island..I got Metro Home Improvements number from someone who used them.. I called Romeo to set up an appointment for an estimate. Not only did he return my call within 15 minutes...he was at my house in Queens within 2 hours...now anyone who would do that gets high a mark from me. Over the years dealing with contractors none had ever responded that quickly...I hired them and I did not regret it. Romeo may have regretted the quote he gave me. My deck isn't big but does have quite a few angles involved and two sets of stairs.. They ripped out the old deck I had for 23 years and reinforced the base structure and started installing the new composite decking on day one ...day two job was completed. They were prompt; curtious and above all neat. I would definitely recommend Romeo and Metro Home Improvement. You will not ne disappointed..Five Stars ...If I could give Ten stars I would..."

"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

"Malik runs a very professional operation. From the time of initial phone contact with Malik (yes, he does answer his own phone) to the final post-job cleanup, this was a hassle-free project for me. Malik's crew showed up promptly each morning, and under the supervision of Malik or his equally capable foreman ("Mr. Z"), every detail of this work was performed in a skilled, highly competent and precise manner. Once begun (except for rain days), the job was continued through completion. Worth noting also is the fact that, although he was aware of my budget limitations, Malik was able to deliver a first-class job which the quality of the finished product reflects. I would enthusiastically recommend him to any Angie's List member (and will be contacting him myself for all future work on my house).

"John Hayes and his 112 construction team came and expedited the repairs to get our home back to not only a functional state, but a more improved home better than we had before. The rooms that were effected the most look better than they ever did. As repairs occurred; John was very open to having other work in our home being renovated as part of the original repair work. Work such as our master bathroom renovation as well as our living room look as if we moved into a brand new home. During the repair phase, an ongoing problem with our plumbing was discovered. John and his team didn't miss a step. They immediately went into action to solve the issue and continue with the existing repairs like nothing happened. Their knowledge, professionalism, expertise, flexibility, and courtesy during the work was well over outstanding. John's assistance on helping us locate the best products to add to the repairs and renovations is greatly appreciate. The costs we paid for his services and work doesn't compare to the price we paid. "Fast, professional, good cleanup, amazing new look to the house. They even replaced ill-placed plywood that was making the roof uneven and reinstalled two skylights that had been put in by a previous contractor, not with the best method. Their crew was professional, removed and re-installed gutters (several others from whom we solicited bids told us they would destroy the gutters in putting on the roof. I wish I had a few more buildings to get them to re-shingle, but will recommend to family, friends and neighbors. Since they also do construction, I am looking to use them for the redo of another building. Yeah, talk to (and hire) these folks!"
