Heath gave me a very reasonable estimate for getting the work done (including the new door), and let me know it would be a couple of weeks for them to get to it, as they had a couple other jobs that needed to be completed first. That seems to be pretty normal based on the other contractors I contacted for estimates. True to his word, Heath scheduled my job within about 2 weeks, and got it done in one day. He worked with me prior to that to figure out what kind of door I wanted, and the color I wanted it painted. So the door had been purchased and painted and was ready for installation by the time they came to do the job. The job was completed and came out just as I'd hoped, and the end cost of the job was exactly what Heath had given me as an estimate. I have been looking for a competent, trustworthy handyman/carpenter, and Heath fits the bill. I anticipate calling him again in the future for other handyman and carpentry jobs."

They did a beautiful job on most things: they're fantastic with structural and electrical work, and the new ceilings, windows, and fence all look great. A few of the finishing touches weren't as high-quality as the rest of their work, but overall we were very happy. I should have asked for a more detailed estimate in writing up front, as the final price came out to more than we were expecting--but that was largely because we kept asking them to do more! But they were trustworthy, and accounted for every dollar they spent. I would definitely hire them again."

After working with several contractors on smaller jobs and interviewing several others for my kitchen remodel, I went with Sergiy and his team. He worked with our design to demo, prep and finish a large kitchen for cabinet and appliance installation. I could not have expected a better job, or a nicer group of people into my house. Above all, he worked with me to ensure that everything was as planned, and not just to ?acceptable? standards, but to ?professional? standards. There is a difference.  He came in on budget, was very reasonable, and also took care of some nagging unrelated issues, like adjusting our patio doors (a lot cheaper than buying new ones) and replacing a window that I measured and bought myself for a fraction of what anyone else would charge.

The project included a complete demo, and removal of soffits including getting rid of a lot of wallpaper yet keeping the wallboard underneath perfect for painting, new exhaust, etc. They ensured everything was lined up, dimensionally accurate, plumb and square for my cabinet installer and appliances.

I am so happy that I did not have a condescending or patronizing contractor that was looking for anything to change our vision or add unnecessary work and then get out before anyone noticed.  I wanted to have more control than just pay $100K+ to one contractor and hope for the best. I split up design, cabinets and appliances. Many would not even consider anything that was not the entire job. Sergiy really worked with me, was sincere in making everything right, and the cost was super reasonable and spot on.  He is focused on the job, not on over selling. A very nice change, indeed.
