"I hired Remodeling Concepts based on a recommendation. Right from the start Derek was very responsive and once at my home he was full of ideas and suggestions to help us with our remodel. I brought in 3 contractors before hiring RC. The estimates were all around the same amount and Derek was right in line with his prices but he offered a lot more than anyone else I spoke to. "I've hired Joe and his painters to do several major painting jobs and some minor ceiling repair jobs in the home that I purchased a year ago. He had to bring in scaffolding to reach the top of the cathedral ceiling and walls, which worked great. Before painting, he repaired cracks and fixed nail pops. When I noticed some minor things that I wanted redone, Joe was very understanding and did so at no additional cost. He also stained my outside deck. "John went the second mile and then some.  He did all the shopping for us and never charged us for his time or gas.  This meant a lot as John's knowledge of what was needed for the job saved us from making mistakes in our purchases, or just not getting all that was needed.  He saved us countless hours of going back and forth.  His prices are excellent; I don't really know how he does it.
He is so extremely pleasant to work with.  He's friendly, but soft-spoken.  He is and honest and ethical; and gives you 100% of his time while on the job.  If you purchase 6 hours from John, he will give you all six hours.  Don't be afraid of being charged time while John eats lunch; he won't do that to you. 
Additionally, he is careful and competent.  I was especially grateful for his ability to make suggestions.  They were all good and highly valued (things I just wouldn't have thought of).  His work is excellent quality.  I could not be more happy having found and hired John.  Having someone to your home to do work can feel uncomfortable and intrusive.  Having John over is a pleasure.  I will truly miss him when the work is finished.  The deck is almost done and it's beautiful!
