"Jose & Sammy were terrific. I watched to see how they were going to handle power washing the pool deck and patio with the massive amount of furniture on them. But they patiently carried every single piece to the driveway, lined them up and began power washing every piece. The furniture was cleaner than it has been since it was new. The power wash buffer they used on the concrete deck, patio and pavers did an amazing job, with minimal mess. The end result was again amazing. I hadn't seen the concrete that bright since the first year we opened the pool. They continued to do the front deck, the white railings, the front paver walkway and finished the job by power washing the entire house. They worked non-stop to complete this project in one day. I addition, Jose made some small repairs to the siding on the house and both he & Sammy carried a huge box with a fire pit to be assembled from the garage to the pool deck. I was in a time crunch to get this project done before the weekend. i called their office and Alan, the owner, cam to my house within an hour and gave me an estimate. I signed the contract via email that night and the work began the following day and was completed that evening. A great job by everyone involved. The price may have been a touch on the heavy side but I told Alan that I needed it done right away and he delivered, so you need to pay for that. I would highly recommend Westside to anyone based on this experience.

"I found this company while searching the internet for contractors in my area. Derek (Owner) was my 5th a final estimate. In this case, saving the best for last was a TRUE statement. I will be honest, was Derek the cheapest? No...Was he the most expensive, absolutely not. Was he the most professional, straight forward, honest.....YES. I have never met or spoke with Derek before we met the day of our estimate. Derek was the only one to bring documentation about his company, his insurance policies, and provided a full written contract within DAYS of our initial meeting. We worked on a price that was fair for both of us and he broke down all of his costs to highlight why his price was where it was. It is the little things that won him the job. Changing the locks on my basement door so I would never have to worry about anyone coming upstairs, ordering a port-a-potty so no one would have to use my bathroom inside, daily morning phone calls to let me know what was being done that day and the upcoming days, etc. Every single one of his workers were kind, intelligent, hard working, and professional. Choosing Derek to complete my project was a choice I am glad I made. Derek is a perfectionist, and will not stop until it is 110%. If anyone has any questions or concerns about this company, please reach out to Derek and Valerie and they will provide my contact information. More than happy to discuss as I would like nothing more to see this company continue to grow. I have already re-hired Derek to complete my back splash in my kitchen, and will be hiring him to do my closets and pantry and eventually re-modeling my deck. However. the job required additiaonl costs that were not realized, so we waved the costs off. Overall, very please with Matt's professionalism, communication and personality. "For starters, John replied to my messages within an hour throughout our interactions, and there were quite a few more than normal due to my mistake. He was so responsive that I got to checking for a reply within 10 minutes of sending it and there it was! Some of the other 4-5 handymen I reached out to replied after a day and some didn’t at all. Anyway he came the first time and we screwed up so he had wasted his time for this visit as we gave a wrong phone number and didn’t hear the doorbell. John was completely understanding and we re-scheduled for the next day! He took care of the job without any problem and was actually pleasant to have over as our guest during the time! He’s a very understanding, patient, kind and competent guy. So thankful!"

"Kris remodeled 2 bathrooms and a living room in a house we were trying to sell. We had no offers before the remodel, and it sold quickly after the work he did. One of the bathrooms was a complete tear-down, replacing the walls, wainscoting, fixtures, floor and everything. He did a very good job, and we never could have sold the house without his work."
