"The 35-yr old roof of our co-op tenement building was failing after years of patches and temporary fixes. Several contractors  proposed installing a modern thermoplastic commercial roof sealing layer over the old roof.   We also had a few other jobs that needed doing on the roof. Vandelay's proposal and pricing were competitive yet realistic.  *Everything* for the job had to be approved by the co-op Board; Bob was extremely patient and diligent about answering all questions, explaining and personally demonstrating to Board members what work would be done.  When worked was finally Board-approved,it proceeded quickly and finished within the promised time frame.
