"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the surrounding buildings and the nature of the light that my co-op receives.  I arranged for a visit to his shop where in a matter of a few hours I made my selections.  He guided me to the fabric and shade choices that enabled me to make a decision in one visit.  It was approximately six weeks from the date of my selection to the final installation.  Due to availability of materials there were two installations.  I am very happy with the results and would use them again if and when the need arises.

When my wife and I finally decided to replace all the windows in our home (32 total windows) we started a process that took over 6 months and added a lot of anxiety into our lives. We saw a few different window replacement companies but settled on Royal Windows and Doors because of our initial meetings with Danny and George and after seeing their showroom. But we still had high anxiety as the date to replace the windows approached. But the crew, lead by Chris, was fantastic and from day one they made my wife and I feel very comfortable with how they took out, then replaced each window. By the second day we were having lunch with the crew discussing the intricacies of our job as well as other window stories. The crew had great attention to detail, cleaned up as they went and replaced our old and inefficient windows with new and energy efficient windows that we already see and feel the difference! My only regret is that we don?t have any more windows to replace! (But the front door is getting replaced later this year so we know where we?ll go?).
