"The previous owner of our property used his French drain installation as a selling point, but shortly after we moved in we found water in the basement after a storm. It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. "I have to tell you that this contractor was extremely professional. I have hire may of contractors in the past and this gentleman and his crew exceeded ALL expectations. My basement had been flooding for years and we finally decided to hire someone. Let me tell you, they came in here and in ONE DAY they completed the job. He came to my house with a CREW, not with just a helper, a CREW and they bang this job out. Price was reasonable too. Before they left, they cleaned every single area that they may have gone through left my basement and the outside where they were dumping all the debris CLEAN.... They even washed it down my driveway and left everything immaculate. I’m telling you from experience there are very few contractors that will leave the job site clean. I told him I would wait to write a review because I wanted to be sure that is life time guarantee that my basement would never flood again actually worked. WELL so far so good, we have had multiple rain storms and my basement is bone dry. Even the slightest of rain would come pouring through down into my basement. And now NOTHING!!
