She had had past negative experiences with two other local so-called “landscaping” companies, who only wanted to mow and dump weedkiller so they could go on to multiple other jobs the same day, but charged almost as much as Doug. After that, the meticulous and thorough work done by Doug and his four assistants (with NO weedkiller!) was very refreshing. They worked nearly nonstop for 7+ hours, and clearly were an experienced and well-coordinated crew. Did all work quoted, cleaned up all debris completely, and Mom’s place has never looked better!
