"DO NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman. I hired him to install a stone walkway and it is a complete disaster. The workmanship is terrible. The walkway is falling apart, breaking and lifting and is a trip hazard. I had to take him to court to get my payment refunded. I was awarded the judgment, but Dan Ford has NOT paid. I ended up having to file a transcript of judgment with the County Court and have a lien placed on him and his business. He still has NOT paid. Do NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman."

Any dissymmetry with installation can cause the doors and drawers to not function correctly. Frameless cabinets are also thicker and heavier, making them harder to install by yourself.

Yes, as long as the doors match the dimensions of your old cabinets and use compatible hinges. This method works best if you are using similar materials and door styles that match your existing cupboards. If you’re choosing significantly different materials, like moving from fiberboard to hardwood, then it’s usually best to replace the entire cabinet.

Unless otherwise specified in the manufacturer’s instructions, in most cases you should attach the hinges to the cabinet door before attaching it to the cabinet frame.
