Darren contacted me via this site and came to give me an estimate on 6/24/22. I ordered 3 custom cabinets, paid a deposit of $1200 at that time. Our working relationship was very good until it came to the three cabinet doors. He said he ordered the but by 11/09/23 they still were not installed.After many texts and phone calls, My friend and I went to his shop.in April 2023. He had no record of our transactions, but I did. I had a receipt stating that I had paid his bill in full, including $300 for doors that I never received. He said he would order the doors, but he still did not install them In December 2023, I requested a reimbursement of the $300. He said he would send a check immediately. On 1/09/24, I texted him to inform him that I never received the check. He texted back a thumbs up emoji On 11/15/24, I again reached out by text informing him that I never received his check. He threatened me with a law suit for harassment. , claiming that I not only received the check but I also wrote a thank you note. I asked to see a copy of the check and he answered by blocking me. I actually found an excellent contractor to finish my cabinets

Darren absolutely ghosted me after I paid in full. Prior to my full payment he was extremely responsive and helpful. However, after he received the full cost (prior to actually finishing mind you bc I?m a trusting sort), he never came back to reinstall the hinges, one cabinet door is hanging off, the trim on another door is also coming off. I was EXTREMELY patient with him and he continually disappointed me. Would NEVER recommend him to anyone and he has totally ruined supporting small businesses for me. Shame on him for running a business like this.

Met and surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend him! Our project turned out great, and reasonably priced too!
