It went better than expected. Very professional and basically, at a very reasonable price. He found the leak, fixed the problem, and cleaned up when the work was done. Would confidently recommend Phil and would personally use his services again.

I hired Phil at PTO Home Service and Repair to look into an interesting problem I was having with my basement plumbing. We had our kitchen sink, washer, and two basement sinks draining into a 1 1/2" PVC pie that was going into a cast iron pipe into the ground and when the washer would drain it overflowed the sink. Phil was very responsive, he called me back and was able to come on a Saturday and look at the issue. I knew for this specific problem I was going to need some custom type of work done and Phil was the right person for the job. After the assessment, Phil recommended a fix and scheduled time to come and implement it. He arrived on time and was very professional. After the fix was installed and we tested the washer, unfortunately the problem still existed. I was very impressed at Phil's ability to troubleshoot the issue after the initial work and provide a further suggestion to get the problem fixed "permanently". I could tell that Phil really cared about solving the problem so that I wouldn't have to worry about it in the future. He scheduled a new time to come and implement the fix and on that date also showed up on time, sent me a text to let me know he was on his way and worked all day to get it done. The "permanent" fix that Phil came up with was very creative and I was impressed with the work that was done. The only thing I have to do now is replace the sheetrock in my basement, which shouldn't be too bad. See the attached pictures. I was extremely happy with Phil and PTO Home Service & Repair and would definitely hire him again!

Great. PHIL KNOWS HIS PLUMBING. He is hard working and personable. We would hire him again. He is knowledgeable about home construction, not just plumbing.

1. Phil repositioned the filter and added ball valves that make changing the filter a breeze, with no mess to clean up. 2. Phil put in ball valves and repositioned them for easy and safe access. With the below zero temperatures we've had this winter, I haven't lost any sleep worrying about those pipes freezing.

Phil did a decent job with what was done and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. The only problem was that he was supposed to come back and do a few other things, but I never heard from him again. I called him and texted him, but never got a response.

Phil was very quick getting back to me, got me in for an appointment the next day, and diagnosed and fixed the problem without any issues. He did excellent work, gave me a great price, and was great to work with.

We originally contacted Phil as we were looking to have a gas line installed to our kitchen range location. We had just recently moved into our home and we had other plumbing projects that we weren't ready to tackle as DIYers. We gave Phil a list of everything we wanted done to see if it would fall within our budget. Phil was very prompt in scheduling a visit for an estimate. He emailed us a written estimate within 2 days of the visit. We felt the entire estimate for the scope of work was extremely reasonable so we decided to do everything on our list. Phil spent almost 3 entire days at our house completing the job. You could tell he was taking his time and he cared about doing a good job. He explained everything he was going to do and if he ran into any issues he communicated it to us on how he would solve the problem. On the last day of the job, Phil was finishing up his work and noticed that a shutoff he had installed had a factory defect and was slightly dripping. (I hadn't noticed it yet as it was a very small leak) He made us aware and told us he would be back to replace it in a few days. We decided in that time we wanted a different type of shutoff so he replaced both shutoffs on the same day at no extra charge!! He really wants to make sure his customers are happy. All in all Phil was a joy to work with. We were able to leave him alone in our home while he worked as we ran errands. We enjoyed having conversations with Phil while he worked and he even tolerated my daughter talking his ear off while she played in her basement playroom. He even wished her a "good day at school" when she was getting on the bus in the morning. We are happy we have found a plumber and everyday handyman we can call when we need more work done in the future. Highly recommended. Thanks Phil!!

All went fine. Phil was very reliable and personable. His work quality was very good and performed the repairs as if he was working on his own home. Did not take any shortcuts. I would definitely recommend Phil to anyone.

Phil returns phone calls very quickly and I was impressed with his responsiveness. The quality of his work was outstanding. A few additional plumbing repairs surfaced during his work and he fixed those as well. his prices were very reasonable as well. We would definitely use again. Thanks!

Phil was very prompt in getting back to me to set up an appointment and he was able to get here in a day or so. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. I would recommend him and hire him again for any of my plumbing needs.

They did a fine job and it only took a few minutes but he had to charge me a flat rate which was high

It was pretty straightforward work, nothing fancy but done competently. He had an assistant, they are fine. Took maybe 2 days.

He is exactly the kind of worker that you would want in your house to repair something. He is knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, and he knows what he is doing. I have had a lot of people for different repairs and he is one of the ones at the top, he is A plus.

Phil did a great job and I appreciate his work. He was polite and kept me in the loop. We were both flexible with each other and the job was great.
