"Mike and his crew showed up everyday on time and stayed for eight hours each day. They demolished the old siding first and made sure to clean up all materials around the lawn. They placed cloths down while working inside and again swept everything up at the end of the day. They were very professional and installed all materials perfectly. Whenever there was a problem, everyone stayed positive and worked around it. Excellent communication with me about any questions they had. The quote which was given at the beginning of the project was right on at the end. No surprises. The house looks just fantastic! Siding is level, doors work and lock easily and the window all open smoothly. This is our fourth project with Mike and he, and his entire crew are just outstanding. The practice of painting barns red dates back to America’s colonial days, when new farmers would borrow the European practice of mixing linseed oil with ferrous oxide to coat the barns in order to protect them from the elements, leaving the structures with a red color.

If you caulk after painting, a few things can happen that you definitely don't want to happen. For one, caulk is messy and can make for an equally messy finish. Second, applying caulk after painting might not provide proper insulation because the paint is underneath the caulk and doesn’t add the same protection as caulk.
