"These guys were great. I had mold in my basement walls. This company was very knowledgeable and their price was very good. In one day not only was all the mold gone but they also waterproofed my basement. They were professional and fast. I highly recommend them."

"Just excellent start to finish - I’ve been battling water in my basement for years and finally have no more anxiety during a heavy rainstorm. The new humidifier and waterproofed basement was money well spent - and the work and care from this top notch team was outstanding. Highly recommend them. Quality work at a fair price."

"Im am so happy with the work that was done on my house. Tyler came and gave a very fair estimate on lifting my concrete side entrance stairs to my basement. He explained every step of the process and did exactly what we wanted with no issues. Everything was done to perfection. No damage was done and you cant even tell the stairs ever needed a repair in the first place. I would highly recommend this company and would hire again for any future jobs."

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

Some disadvantages of crawl spaces are mostly regarding the air itself—moisture build-up and poor ventilation, which can cause problems both in the house and underneath it, even damaging the foundation itself. Crawl spaces are difficult to access and often invite unwanted pests during the hot summer months and the cold winter ones. These hard-to-seal spaces are also susceptible to water damage during periods of heavy rain or melting snow.

Yes, engineers assess soil load-bearing capacity and provide construction guidelines.

Living in a finished basement is acceptable, but only if the space has the proper points of egress and includes smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors to ensure the safety of the occupants. A good way to ensure your finished basement is suitable for use as living space is to get the basement finishing project properly permitted.

Yes, cleaning a crawl space is worth the cost. Although it's an out-of-sight area, neglecting it can lead to significant problems like pest infestations (including termites and carpenter ants), mold, and fungal growth, which can cause structural damage. Regular cleaning helps prevent these issues. While hiring a contractor has ongoing costs, the price for cleaning—typically between $0.50 and $4 per square foot—is much lower than the cost to remediate a pest or mold problem. Additionally, a clean crawl space can lead to improved indoor air quality and more comfortable temperatures in your home.

You can seal a concrete slab by cleaning the surface, filling in any cracks, etching the surface, applying a sealer, and letting it dry. Concrete slabs don't typically need sealing, but you can use a topical concrete sealer if you notice signs of water damage. If you haven't already fixed the cause of the leak, then you'll want to repair the plumbing before you seal a concrete slab.
