"Chris at C&C is extremely professional. He shows up every day on time and does great overall work. If they're any issues he address's you personally to get them resolved. Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.

To neutralize mildew smell, you can use natural deodorizers like baking soda or activated charcoal. Baking soda absorbs odors; sprinkle it liberally on the affected area, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Activated charcoal, available in pouches, works similarly. Vinegar, with its natural acidic properties, can also neutralize odors. Mix equal parts water and vinegar, spray the affected area lightly, then blot it with a dry cloth. Enzymatic cleaners are effective too, breaking down odor-causing compounds.

Ensure there’s a way to flush out excess water from the generator. There will either be a bin you can pull to dump water down the drain or a simple button if your generator is hooked up to a drainage pipe. 

 Ideally, you’ll want to drain after every shower, but there will be a mark on the generator that shows how much water it can hold. Failing to drain the generator can lead to automatic shut-offs or damage.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

In between deep cleanings, you really only need to clean the filter, the drum, and the door. Run a sanitization cycle and then wipe down the exterior of the machine. You can skip cleaning the drain hose and the detergent tray, as these steps only need to happen once or twice a year, depending on how often you use your washing machine.
