Could take 7-10 days to see improvement, maybe, despite being told 24-48 hours, and when you call back after no improvement it takes them another 3-4 days to schedule return visit. Save yourself the time and money and either do what they can do yourself, or call someone else who actually will remove and not just treat a nest. Not worth $30 let alone the $300 they charge. Amateurs as best."

When cleaning gutters, your pressure washer shouldn’t exceed a pressure rating range of 1,500 and 1,800 psi. Remember—gutters are designed to withstand the pressure of heavy rain and not much else. While the force of the water in a pressure washer will get rid of the dirt and debris, too much force can damage your gutters and, if you’re not careful, your house. A high PSI will have you prepped to call a professional when your gutter leaks. It could also mess up the gutter joints or even blow the tiles off of your roof.

Spring and fall tend to be the best times of the year to clean gutters. Fall is when all of the leaves drop into your gutters, so you'll want to clear that out to prevent clogs from becoming worse. Once spring comes, you'll also want to make sure that your gutters are clear of debris for in preparation for rainfall.

Clean your gutters at least twice a year if you don't have any trees near your home. If you have many large trees or pine trees, then you'll want to clean your gutters every three to four months.

On average, gutters last between 15 and 25 years. Certain materials (stainless and galvanized steel, copper, and cast iron) will have much longer lifespans, with much higher price tags. Vinyl typically lasts only 10 to 15 years, while the second most commonly used material, aluminum, lasts an average of 25 years. Only you as the homeowner will know if the additional cost of upgraded materials makes sense for your home.

If you don’t have the right gutter sizes installed, the water may not flow properly. Small gutters need a sharper slope to move the water faster before it can overflow. While zinc gutters will not crack, fade, or rust with time, they will change in appearance as the years go on. This "maturing" is actually one of the reasons why zinc gutters are so prized. Over time, a grayish patina forms on zinc gutters to create a stately, rustic look. This patina actually makes zinc gutters more durable by making them resistant to chemicals.
