We additionally ask himet o remove the textured ceiling surface. The resulting mess every day was completely cleaned by Jon before he left. The job is finshed the ceiling looks great! We would recommend Jon to anyone for drywall repiar"

Many types of peel-and-stick wallpaper can hold up to environments with some level of moisture, such as bathrooms—especially peel-and-stick wallpapers made of vinyl or polyester. While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space. 

For the most part, peel-and-stick wallpaper doesn't damage walls. However, there may be some cases when damage does occur. For example, if you try to rip the paper off the wall, you may pull away some paint at the same time.

The walls can also be damaged if they aren't prepared properly before you add the wallpaper. For example, if the coat of paint is too fresh when you put the wallpaper on the walls, it can peel away as you remove the paper. 

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in. 

Most experts would not recommend hanging wallpaper over existing wallpaper more than twice. Even if the walls are in good condition and primed well, that third layer of wallpaper could cause problems with adhesion. Unless you like bubbling paint and peeling wallpaper as an interior design choice, it’s better to remove at least one existing layer before adding any more to a wall.
