The crew of Bob, Joshua and Kyle were in our house for two days and were professional, efficient, friendly, courteous and really knew what they were doing. There were a couple of unexpected problems which they didn't ignore but rather came up with excellent solutions. We are 100% pleased with Graves Bros. Home Improvement and recommend them without hesitation. We called them for the window project because they had been equally professional when replacing our roof 2 years ago."

"Thank you for putting this wonderful window in! It's so clear and big. We love it! Makes the room look bigger!! We've had a few hot days and it has been cooler in the house with the new window! We contacted CMichael interiors on March because we noticed our bow window had a leak in the middle pane. We also noted it was cooler to sit by it in the winter and pretty warm when the sun was out. It took a while to get the window due to the delay with Covid but we were well aware of that. When there was any progress or delay they would communicate with us and also asked us a few times to be sure this is what we wanted. They installed the window in June. 5 guys total and a few hours, the window was in. They were very entertaining to watch!ð very professional and took care of all of the cleanup and removal. Would highly recommend!!"

"So happy we chose R&D for our exterior wall repairs! they were great to work with throughout the process of what turned out to be a complicated issue. Their communication was really appreciated as they dug into things and problem solved some unique issues with how the previous home owners had cut corners on the house. "I had a small but complicated, hard to access, and structurally essential repair job on a 60-year-old concrete deck attached to my 280-year-old Pennsylvania limestone farmhouse. I contacted several masons listed for my area on Home Advisor, and included Mr. Grady as a long shot -- I read about his expertise with historical structures and wished I had access to such an expert craftsman, but I didn't think he'd be interested in my teeny job and assumed I wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. He was the first one to return my call and to look at the job, and I thought his price was fair. I believe now it was way more than fair, considering the time he spent. He did extensive research, going over a structural engineer's report I had done previously on the deck and even examining the original architectural drawings and materials invoices from 1959. He showed up at least three times to complete the repair in stages, and has been back a half a dozen times since then to check the job -- and my location is not exactly in his neighborhood. He accepted only enough payment in advance to pay for lodging for himself and his assistant when they stayed nearby one night in order to be there early the next morning. He gave and continues to give free advice about preserving my stone house and patio. If you prod him a little, he might even share some of his personal philosophy, earned over a lifetime of work that is clearly more of an art form than a job to him. Overall, I'd say you can hire one of many competent contractors and get an adequate job, or you can hire Mr. Grady and get superior work by someone who cares about your property as much as you do."
