I paint cabinets; typically the cabinets that I am painting are wood or melamine, with a laquered surface. I take down the doors and drawer faces and bring them home to spray with shellac primer and Benjamin Moore Aura non-toxic paints. Dan is meticulous with his work and a complete pleasure to work with. He seems to enjoy explaining the process as thoroughly as one may want it. "DO NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman. I hired him to install a stone walkway and it is a complete disaster. The workmanship is terrible. The walkway is falling apart, breaking and lifting and is a trip hazard. I had to take him to court to get my payment refunded. I was awarded the judgment, but Dan Ford has NOT paid. I ended up having to file a transcript of judgment with the County Court and have a lien placed on him and his business. He still has NOT paid. Do NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman."
