"I hired Remodeling Concepts based on a recommendation. Right from the start Derek was very responsive and once at my home he was full of ideas and suggestions to help us with our remodel. I brought in 3 contractors before hiring RC. The estimates were all around the same amount and Derek was right in line with his prices but he offered a lot more than anyone else I spoke to. "Overall, the quality of the craftmanship was good.  However, he needs to work on his painting skills.  I requested and emphasized the need for a pure white cabinet.  It was first spray painted in ivory, and then he rolled on white paint, but only one coat.  So you could see patches of ivory through the white paint.  I thought that painting this cabinet would be the easiest part of the job.  I requested that he repaint the cabinet inside and out after it was installed.  He did but did it quickly just to placate me.  Now I am left to repaint it myself so that I can be totally satisfied with the piece. "
