"The crew arrived on the planned date and worked diligently.  They were knowledgeable about the issues of an old house and knew exactly what they were doing.  They had to carry out the debris (concrete and dirt), and bring in the material and equipment by hand.  They were careful to partition off the part of the basement where they worked and keep dust and dirt from going out of the work area. The crew did a great job in making sure the work sites were cleaned up and everything was done right.  A truck had to come back 2 days later to finish up the river rock in the outside trench, as they had run out of material.  The yard, considering how difficult it was to dig the trench away from the house, was in very good shape.  There were tree roots ans shale that made things difficult and required  a jackhammer at times.
 It was a difficult and messy job that they did wonderfully, inside and outside. I have been very pleased with the work and there has been no problems with water or excessive dampness in the basement."

Called on a Saturday afternoon, Cleiton was there within an hour! By evening, an emailed estimate arrived. Job commenced, Cleiton was there every day, with an additional helper. Cleaned up EVERY night, the job site was cordoned off for safety and Cleiton communicated adjustments that were necessary as the project ended up being a bit more difficult than we thought. (The underlying concrete was crumbling and had to be re-poured.) Overall, EXCELLENT job and though it was a bit more than estimated, the price was fair for the work done and done beautifully."

"fMarcus had been referred to me by a friend who had used him when building his house. I spoke to him on the phone and we agreed on a time to meet at the job site for an estimate. Right from the beginning Marcus couldn't have been more patient, friendly, helpful and professional. We met on time and I showed him the four crumbling concrete steps in the rear of the building, the crumbling concrete stoop in the front of the building and the cinder block wall with cracks in it. There were also two loose pieces of irregular shaped slate at the base of the steps, which was a trip hazard. The steps were not all the same height, so Marcus recommended reducing the rise in the taller steps by adding concrete. He also excavated at the base of the steps, cut the slate into three perfect rectangles and cemented them in. No more tripping hazard and everything looks great! He was also able to repair and reinforce a crumbling concrete stoop in the front of the building after I had been told by other contractors that it had to be replaced. As he was working, Marcus would give me options and come up with better solutions, like strengthening the wall with short pieces of rebar. I would definitely hire Marcus again!
