"The work turned out great. The joints are tight and lined up well. The corners were curved to add a nice touch so the pavers had to be cut along with cutting the smaller brick border bricks. I had about a 2 foot slope of land under the patio and a large slope for the path and step area. This work was done by 4 guys over two hot July days. The bobcat helped dig and rough level it. A lot of material was moved around along with at least 4 pallets of pavers and the blocks for the steps. To finish it off, they put down top soil, grass seed and hay was placed down to finish the job off very well."

Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to fully harden to ensure that added weight won’t shift the concrete slab before it has completely set. Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

It’s possible to rent the equipment necessary to do your own mudjacking, but we don’t recommend it.
