I handed him the envelope of keys that we'd been given by the previous owners, and went back to watching So You Think You Can Dance while the guy did his thing. Maybe an hour later, he handed me four copies of a single key and encouraged me to confirm they worked while he made up the bill. According to the invoice, he ended up rekeying five locks and replacing two doorknobs. My only regret is that I'd handed him an envelope full of keys, some of which were for random other locks around the house (a bedroom, the big garage door), and it seems those are all now gone. I wish I'd thought that through, and also wish he had given me back all my keys, even if most of them were now replaced. He did, however, leave me the two doorknobs he'd replaced... though without the keys

Placed a call to Ye Ole Locksmith, got a quick service date, and the locksmith simply called to let me know when he'd arrive. The dead bolt on the front door was replaced, after the Locksmith tried to clean it up. The locksmith John was polite, professional, thorough, and concerned that I knew how to work all the new locks. The job was great, and even though I'd love a lower price (who doesn't?) the $216 for all the work was well worth it. Unfortunately, I think John and I got the old and new back door keys confused and I ended up with the old keys. I discovered this only when I was leaving later that evening. All the inside locks in the front were bolted, and I could only lock the doorknob of the back door. I called the next morning, and the shop sent out Dustin within a few hours. He made sure the keys did not work, got us into the house, and checked all the work done the day before. Everything was fine except for the key mix-up. Dustin was terrific. I'm not sure if he installed a newer deadbolt, but the knob and deadbolt were re-keyed and he gave me 4 upgraded keys. He made sure everything worked and I knew how to operate it, and then he left and there was NO CHARGE for this second visit. I did tip him for his time, and I was very pleased with the service. I would absolutely recommend Ye Ole Locksmith to anyone, and if the price is a bit higher, well, the service is exceptional and after all, you get what you pay for

Door works great now, and I can get to my clothes! i can't tell you exact cost, as my dad gave this to me as a Christmas present, but he seemed pleased.

Installation was scheduled at my convenience and price was exactly as estimated. Technician was courteous and professional. I rated price "fair" because I believe it was a fair price; that is, I am satisfied that I received good value for the price. I also purchased a computerized car ignition key for substantially less than price quoted by my car dealer. I am very satisfied with this locksmith and would not hesitate to use their service again.

"These guys are the best! We have been replacing the all the windows in our house, these were the last 5. We have a big house with 6 bay windows, and 15 regular. We had them replaced in sections had some from Sears, pure garbage, Home Deport, fair quality. I wish we would of did our whole house in these windows. These are beautiful, excellent quality with a great price. We were just interested in getting our patio replaced, an 8 footer. The salesperson told me about the windows they sell. We had budgeted $5000. for the patio door. The patio door was only $3300, I was quoted $2000, to replace just the glass from others and decided to go with new. I told him we have only 5 more windows to complete the house, He gave us $75. off each window. Sold! The guys came installed were neat professional, it was not like that with any of the others. i live in the boonies and it took them at least 50 minutes to get here. They did it all in less than 5 hours.

<br /> Our main contact has been with Dustin who came out and was able to re-key every lock that we told him about except 1 which he had to order a custom part for. To save us $ he showed us how to remove the current lock and then had me stop by their shop when the replacement came in to pick it up- piece of cake! We'd forgotten about a basement door and realized it a few weeks after his initial visit. Again, to minimize the cost to us they just worked us into their next service trip to the area to replace it. They are friendly, very easy and accomodating to work with and do great work. Now we have 1 key that works in all locks and it turns really easily. I was very comfortable with them in my home and visiting their shop.
