"Randall did an incredible job and we are so happy we got our vents serviced by him. We just moved into an older home & knew it needed to be done. He showed us the before and after photos.. the change was way more than I expected! So worthwhile. I have also noticed my daughter sneezes and coughs less. He was great to work with and provided excellent customer service. We have already recommended him to neighbors and family, and plan to do this as part of our long term maintenance of our home."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

While removing every snowflake from your roof is unnecessary, you should remove a significant buildup of snow. Since snow is wet and heavy, it can easily cause damage to your roof, which can lead to needing costly repairs.

Additionally, when the snow melts but has nowhere to go and refreezes, it can create an ice dam, causing mold concerns due to water leaking into your attic and ceiling. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a snow removal professional to clear heavy snowfall from your roof as soon as possible.

Decks, driveways, siding, and patios are common areas that see improved appearance.

Roof cleaning isn’t a necessity, but it can drastically improve your home’s curb appeal and even prolong the life of your roof, so it’s often a great investment. It’s especially a good idea if shaded parts of your roof experience algae or moss growth, which can damage the shingles and hold water against them, increasing the risk of a roof leak.

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.

Inspect for cracks, clean debris regularly, and replace damaged tiles promptly to maintain performance.
