"What started as a fairly simple gas pipe replacement (tonsils a previously unshielded gas pipe that passed through concrete and, therefore, rusted out causing the leak) turned into a 3-month journey that required not only the gas pipes to be replaced, but also all of the 14-years-old HVAC PVC piping throughout six floors in our Harlem Brownstone. Apparently the DoB changed the rules in 2022 and when they came to inspect the gas pipe work (and all of the gas appliance connections) saw the old white pvc pipes and said they all had to the replaced. Throughout, Paul and his team from Liquid Tech were totally professional, helpful, informative and calm - even when I’m freaking out at the extra work and cost. So 3 months later, we have gas and hot water, heating and dryers working in time for Winter.
