We were selling our home. Home inspector told the buyers we need major chimney work including removing a heatilator fire box. Colonial Masonry guys came in and told me this was a very difficult process including cutting it out from the inside with a blow torch and risk of the entire chimney coming down. Advised me there was nothing wrong with the fire box...just need to be cleaned up, damper oiled so it opened easily and a new cap installed on top. The $3k project ended up costing $675. Some contractors would have just taken the bigger money and run. These guys only did what was needed and i appreciated that.

Colonial Masonry tech was wonderful explained clearly to me what need to be fixed on the chimney. The tech provided a reasonable price. Showed me pictures of the chimney with estimate. Excellent service and price. I recommend and would use this business again.

Two masonry companies have described as bad work and I had to call them out to secure liner it was moving in the wind. They were the ones that installed liner and cap. Waiting on township to inspect to see if it is to code. I should not have to do this.
