"The project went really well. The builder communicated clearly at each step of the way and was open to substitutions. We opted for a different brand of decking besides what they usually use and our requests were nicely accommodated. The workers came when they said they would and completed the project on-time and left our property as they found it. The porch and deck look awesome! I would highly recommend this builder for decking projects. We are very satisfied."
"quoted me fairly and got the work done within the quote he had originally provided. I was selling my home and he was able to paint the interior, remodel and clean most of the upstairs apartment and took care of many other items i needed. The work was finished to my expectations at a more than fair price. Hard working and reliable I would for sure hire again and recommend."
"Xavier did great work on various project needs I had around my house including multiple ceilings, interior walls, baseboards, trim, and interior and exterior doors. All of which came out great. He was a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, and was always punctual. I would definitely hire him again."
"Peter was punctual for the estimate as well as the installation. He was professional, courteous, very well priced, and most importantly he did quality work. I would hire him again in a heartbeat."
"We came home from vacation to very stormy weather. We found that our garage wall and top corner of the ceiling where the garage meets the house was WET. We looked for someone on Angie's List to provide us with an estimate on repairing whatever damage might be up there causing this problem. Due to three top-notch reviews, we called T&T Construction on a Friday. David Turner (owner) answered my call and we agreed that he would come out at 10:00 Monday morning to take a look at the roof/siding. Mr. Turner was punctual and got straight to business taking apart our siding trying to figure out what was causing our problem. He told me that if for some reason he couldn't find the problem, that he would put everything back the way it was before proceeding. We did, in fact, have what appeared to be hail damage to our siding and roofing. Mr. Turner gave us several options for how he could proceed with the work and an estimate. We agreed on the estimate and, much to my surprise, Mr. Turner said he and the one man crew he had with him could get the house repaired by that evening. My husband inspected the roof and siding upon completion and was satisfied that they had done exactly what they had indicated in their estimate. Mr. Turner worked neatly during the job and cleaned up his equipment and other scraps VERY well after the job was done. At the end of his work, he even offered to clean fingerprints left on the new siding during installation. Upon request, he also attempted to fix a siding problem in the back of our home after the roofing job was completed, but not having any additional siding material, he was unable to correct the problem. He DID put everything back in place as it was. My husband and I were very pleased with his professionalism and work ethic and would be happy to recommend him and use his services again in the future. Depending on your needs, you may find a storebought pole barn is a much less expensive option than a custom-built one. You can find pole barn kits from big box retailers starting at $11,000, but you will be limited when it comes to size and add-on features. As long as you have the necessary skills, you can save on labor costs by doing it yourself; but there are a lot of different skill sets you would need, and mistakes during the building process can lead to excessive repair bills later.
Adding an extension or addition to your home costs more than a loft conversion in all but the rarest cases where the home's structural integrity is lacking. Because a home addition requires a new foundation section or significant structural upgrades to handle a cantilevered portion, the cost compared to almost any loft conversion is significantly greater for the same square footage.
A simple A-frame chicken coop can take as little as three hours to build, but a more substantial all-in-one coop to house a large flock can take four or five days to build. Consult a local handyperson or custom coop builder for a time estimate based on the specific details of your project.
Building a tiny house is the least complicated way to build, especially if you’re tackling the project as a DIY. The smaller size means less complex plans, more straightforward utility installation, and fewer ways to make costly errors. Tiny homes still need to conform to building codes and often have other applicable regulations, so be sure to get the proper permits and confirm your build is by the book.
Whether building a playground or installing a pre-made one is more affordable depends on the materials of each. In most cases, it’s more affordable to build a wooden playground than it is to buy one and have it professionally installed, but it might be less expensive to invest in a pre-made plastic playground, even if you pay a professional to install it. Wooden playgrounds tend to last longer, but as children age, they will become less valuable. Overall, it may be most affordable to have a pro install a pre-made plastic playground.
