"The man who came out was very nice. He dealt with the immediate problem (holes in the house) and did a thorough search of the interior and exterior of the home. I have a preference for more organic substances to be used over more harsh chemicals and they were able accomodate that preference. They are scheduled to come back out later this month as part of the ongoing services I purchased.

Many retailers sell premixed gutter sprays. Applying cleaning solutions to dry gutters before rinsing can help cleaners attach to dirt and grime for easier removal.

Although having gutter guards and hoods dramatically reduces the number of times you will have to clean out your gutters, it doesn't necessarily mean that you won't ever have to clean your gutters. Experts recommend cleaning your gutters at least once every two years, even with gutter guards and hoods installed.
