"The original project targeted only the Kitchen with minimum lay out modification. We later added removal of a wall and closet, replacing the dining room floor and painting the is one and the living room. We requested 7 quotes in total since this was a major project. We decided to work with Remodeling concepts due mainly to: - Derek's professionalism, - a timely response during the quoting process. We made four modification to the original project changing design and scope of work, - a very competitive price, - solid references, - have insurance and be licensed. The job started on the agreed date, and run as scheduled. Derek's team follows his professionalism, and they demonstrated a high level of expertise. Demolition (walls, closet, cabinets, etc), cleaning, framing, sheet-rock & taping, tile and back-splash work, plumbing and gas work, cabinets installation, electrical work, appliance installation, and painting were top. And they kept the dust to the minimum. We could appreciate their craftsmanship on the details. We have our DREAM kitchen. My wife is extremely pleased, therefore so do I. "Emil did a fantastic job on my decks and house foundation. He's one of the hardest workers I have ever came across... he worked in 90+ degree heat without shade for days without a single complaint. When I purchased my home a few years ago, the previous owner painted my two decks and the home's foundation a country blue color. The rear deck's paint started to fade and peel after 2 years, so in my 4th year I decided to have someone strip the decks of all of the blue paint and stain the surfaces with semi-transparent stain. At the same time, I needed the foundation's blue color to also be removed, so I went with a brown paint for the foundation and front-facing boards on the decks that went well with the walnut-colored stain and the beige-colored vinyl siding. First, Emil powerwashed the decks and the vinyl railings so everything was clean and free of mildew. He sanded both decks, including in between the boards as much as possible where the blue paint was visible. This was grueling work but Emil treated the job like it was his own house. Once all of the blue paint was gone, he stained the deck surfaces and painted all of the remaining wood and foundation. It looks so much better! My neighbors have all complimented the work, too. I would definitely recommend Emil to anyone looking for a great painter."
