"Hector and Moises were excellent! Hector came with one other of their crew and assembled my permanent gazebo. I have stone pavers and they were very careful in cutting them and digging Deep enough to establish a good anchor. They even installed railings for my back stoop. I would highly recommend them! Clean... affordable and professional."

Small jobs welcome

"They came on time were very clean, respectful and went above and beyond. They painted my entire homes interior and they took down all drapes and filled every little hole so they had a good surface. They said 3 day to do and it took only 3 days. They were on time for everyday they came."

"Hendriks contracting was extremely collaborative and easy to work with. They demo d and removed all traces of my old dilapidated deck and installed a beautiful paver patio complete with landing and fire pit to specifications. They were quick, efficient and clean. "This is the second time I have hired Jakob. He also did my brother's bathroom. Jacob listens to what you want. He notices details. Great at recommendations and design. He brought samples to the house. Communicates daily if need be. He Ikes to do this correct. He is easy going and I would recommend him to anybody no matter how small or big the project."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

You should stagger drywall sheets to help prevent cracking. The joints between drywall sheets are the weak spots, so if you install drywall with seams aligned, you’ll create weak lines that run across the length of the wall and extend from floor to ceiling. But when you stagger drywall, the solid sections of panels will support the joints. This can prevent seams from cracking or separating due to fluctuating temperature and humidity, vibrations from movement inside the home, and gravity.

Regular dusting, occasional repainting, and avoiding harsh scrubbing preserve the finish.

It’s always better to follow proven drywall repair tips and fix the seams that look bad. However, if you simply want to make them less noticeable until you have time to fix them, you can use paint. A darker color of paint makes bad drywall tape seams less noticeable than light-colored paint. Matte paint hides bad seams better than glossy paint does, too.

Yes, wainscoting is installed directly over drywall. However, ensure the drywall is in good shape since it will support the wainscoting. If the drywall has issues, such as holes, mold, or mildew, repair them before installing the wainscoting. Alternatively, you can install a plywood substrate before attaching the trim.

Yes, cabinets are installed over drywall. The drywall must be in good condition, and you must ensure that the wall can handle the weight of the cabinets. Secure the cabinets to studs and use proper anchoring devices, like toggle bolts.
