This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction.

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

"Frank from Classic Construction came highly recommended by my new neighbors.  After interviewing a few contractors, I knew they were my go to people for this project.  I had a small window of time for the work to be performed between the closing date, a business trip and my moving in date.  I was very fortunate to get squeezed in and everything was completed before my deadline.  I entrusted Frank to pull it together while I was away on a business trip.  I returned from my trip and moved in that weekend.  When I saw all the work that was done I knew I was home.  I have to say Frank and his crew did an amazing job.  I would hire Classic Construction again in a heartbeat. "

"Our entire job was extensive, replacing all windows (new construction not inserts), remove/install siding, replace all outdoor trim changing it from wood to Azek, new indoor trim around new windows, new soffits, new gutters, new front door and surround, new garage doors, new outdoor lighting and new front porch.  The first contractor not only walked off the job but his work had to be removed and redone due to poor workmanship by the first contractor.  Cary came to the rescue, because we continued to uncover more work that had to be redone we paid Cary and his helper by the hour.  His work ethic was unquestionable.  He showed up on time and worked the promised 8 hours.  Cary did all the siding, soffit installation and basic outside trim which included a 1 x 8 freeze board a 1x4 board, dentil molding then cove molding along the roof line. He also cut the arches from the Azek.  Because my design for the front door surround was rather intricate Cary brought in two carpenters who were unbelievably talented.  He had them cut the remaining dentil that was needed on site.  He also brought in someone who installed the gutters and downspouts. Cary also installed our french doors with a retractable screen and as the Anderson construction rep said, " this is the best installation I have ever seen".  The overall project went smoothly once Cary took over the job.  He is respectful and listens to what you want and most importantly was there when I needed him."

"Extremely well. This is a over 2 and a half garage plus full patio. Not only was work completed ahead of schedule but the quality was second to none. My garage is built better then my actual house. It was built to the highest specs and most recent safety protocols. Alex also was able to come in under estimate, which in itself was incredible. All in all I was extremely pleased and satisfied."

"Boulevard Planning did a total remodel of our home. We had a cape and removed the entire second floor and built an full third floor attic. Thanks to John, we some how were even able to live in the house (not ideal) through the entire construction. Could not have asked things to go as smoothly as they did. John is a stand up guy and really went above and beyond. To be expected a few bumps along the way that were immediately taken care of. Cannot tell you the number of complements we get, more importantly it is awesome to be living in the new house. Unbelievably, John stuck 100% to the original budget. We did exceed budget with extras, mostly on the first floor. All of the extras were our own doing. With any contractor, stay on top of the work they are doing in order to be sure it is up to your liking. I would hire Boulevard Planning to do it all over again."
