"The owner, Glenn Stila, was nice at first when he came to look at the property. I explained in great detail what I was looking for and walked the entire property so there wouldn’t be any confusion or misunderstanding. After that, I asked Glenn if that was something his company would be able to do to which he said yes. His company came and did a good job but they didn’t finish. They left some bushes untrimmed and some of the property needed a once over. It just didn’t look completed and it looked sloppy. Being a new client I didn’t want to come off as difficult so I did pay upfront Which I totally regret and will never do again no matter the circumstance .i called the office and took photos and sent it over and explained it to them and their receptionist, Alyssa, although nice, gave me the run around for 3 months basically. It was always Glenn was busy or it’ll be next week. Mind you as anew client, I had paid $1,500.00 and as a new client you’d think theyd want to keep me happy because I am paying a good amount of money. I mean we’re not just talking about a $50 lawn cut here. Anyway, I finally called Glenn direct. He never answered my calls except one day he sent me a text since I had threatened to file a dispute with my bank for the service And he responded with a very nasty tone and said that nothing is for free and that whatever I was referring to would cost more money And claimed to not know what I was talking about. Keep in mind, I was not hostile or aggressive in my phone calls or text messages Although I had every right to curse them both out but I’m an adult and I deal with idiots all day so this would be nothing different and wouldn’t resolve anything. Also, no one ever asked for any free services and also his text made no sense… you mean to tell me your guys purposely did not trim some bushes because it wasn’t included in the $1,500 quote…I was more than patient and kind with Alyssa, the receptionist. I finally made one last attempt And spoke with Alyssa and the conversation ended with either her or Glenn would come over to the property and try to resolve the issue and get on the same page. I even took off work just to get this done once and for all and she promised up and down that if Glenn couldn’t make it that she would. Surprise surprise. Neither of them could make. So ladies and gentlemen, after 3 months, I gave up. This is not a landscaping company, all they do is mow and leaf blow. I have text messages and call logs to coroborate all of this. Very unprofessional, terrible customer service, what a shame and waste of time."

FAQs for stone and gravel service projects in Congers, NY
The average cost of a gravel driveway is about $1.25 to $2 per square foot, including the cost of materials, equipment, and professional installation. For example, a 16-by-30-foot driveway costs about $1,500. Cost factors include the type of gravel, how thick the gravel is installed, the condition of the landscape, and labor costs. Overall costs will vary depending on where you live and how accessible the job site is.
Because gravel moves, it requires different maintenance than asphalt or concrete. Here are a few maintenance tips for your gravel driveway. Every few years (or as often as needed):
Grade and level your driveway
Rake to fill holes and ruts
Compact any refilled potholes
Remove weeds with herbicide or by hand
Spray it with water to reduce the amount of dust kicked up
Avoid using a snowplow during winter months
A gravel driveway should last for up to 100 years with proper upkeep, which is minimal. Maintaining a gravel driveway includes grading and adding fresh gravel to fill in potholes. Otherwise, a gravel driveway holds up well to all kinds of weather. Plowing in the winter can be challenging and the gravel can develop ruts or potholes that need to be repaired, but the cost and longevity of gravel compared to concrete, asphalt, and pavers makes gravel an economical option, especially for long and/or wide driveways.
A gravel driveway should be at least 4 to 6 inches deep, depending on the soil it’s installed on. Softer soil that doesn’t drain well should have a deeper gravel driveway. Deeper gravel will mean you spend more on materials and labor, but you’ll get a more stable driveway and avoid damage that needs to be filled or graded flat again.
