"Very pleasant. Took his time to inspect the problem and come up with an appropriate solution. Completed the work for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend him and will hire him if there is a future plumbing repair."

"This company called me as I clicked yes to help. Very knowledgeable, he asked me questions, figured out my problem and told me where to get part and pretty much how to install it and test it! He had prices, options and I will call him anytime I have water issues! The rest of the day I answered calls and was told I needed them to come and charge me tons of money.. I am up and running with a phone call! Almost nobody does that anymore. Satisfaction went through the roof with Drain Cleaners Sewer and Septic Professionals, they knew all about wells, pumps, tanks and control boxes! Love these guys! thank you again, Dean R. Hubbel"

"My Son & I had an emergency involving an exterior faucet elbow that rusted through today which caused a severe water loss situation. We tried ourselves to remove it & replace it with a temporary cap, but had no luck. My Son got on Home Advisor & quickly had a few Plumbers respond by phone. Chuck was the first to show up at the door with business card in hand & quickly assessed the situation. He was able to finally remove & replace the elbow within 20 minutes! Plumbing pros run in my family, but this was the first time in 56 years that I recall having to have a plumber come out to fix a problem in my home that me & my Son couldn't solve. Chuck was professional, personable & quick to repair the problem. He saved the day for us & even gave me a Veteran's discount! Glad we decided on Home Advisor & we do highly recommend it as well as Chuck. Our thanks to the other pros whom also called us back. From one DIY "Plumber" to another, thanks again Chuck for your time & skills. We appreciated your help!"

"Our grass had grown to 3 feet tall. It was going to require some detailed work to cut it down. Brothers Lawn Care, Shayne Jasewicz and Dylan Dolder, tackled it with care and determination. We thought we covered everything they needed to know, but after a few minutes working, they were at the door asking where the well cap was. With the grass so high they could have easily hit it. They asked if we wanted stripes on the lawn and said they always mow so cuttings are blown away from buildings. It was a huge task. We are very pleased with their work. I only gave them 4 stars, because there is always room for improvement and it keeps one ever looking for ways to get that fifth star"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Some flushable wipes companies say they are designed to disintegrate within a few hours to a few days after being flushed. These wipes allegedly use materials that are more water-soluble than traditional wipes. However, many experts have raised concerns that even so-called "flushable" wipes do not break down as easily as claimed and can contribute to clogs and blockages in sewer systems.

To prevent plumbing and sewer problems, avoid flushing wipes, even those labeled as flushable. Instead, dispose of them in the trash. This can help prevent costly plumbing issues and reduce the strain on wastewater treatment systems.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

Sewer gas in any location can cause eye and respiratory irritation if you’re exposed at low levels, or more severe symptoms if you’re exposed at high levels—but fortunately, the fresh air outside means it’s less likely to affect your physical health. However, sewer smells outside can still indicate significant plumbing problems that will need to be dealt with, such as a potentially damaged sewer line or roof vent pipe.

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

Most commercial liquid drain cleaners work in 15 to 30 minutes. Consult the label on the bottle for additional instructions or time suggestions to prevent damage to your drainpipes. Alternative solutions such as baking soda, salt, white vinegar, and/or boiling water can take longer since they are less harsh than liquid drain cleaners.
