"“Excellent leaf pickup service! My yard was completely covered, and they made it look spotless. They didn’t just blow leaves around—they thoroughly collected everything, including corners and edges. The lawn looks clean and well-maintained now. They were on time, efficient, and left no mess behind. Highly recommend!”"

"Storm damaged 2 very large trees threatening the house. Dan and his crew professonally removed the trees even though multiple large and heavy branches were overhanging the roof. He knew exactly what to do , what equipment was require and how to do the work safely and efficiently. The cost was very reasonable and the yard was spottless when he was finished. I would happily hire him again. "

"The owner of this company has done a fantastic job, keeping my lawn and my trimming done every two weeks as I requested. He sends out an invoice when service is due and as soon as it’s paid, he comes the next day to do my lawn, trimming and cleanup of all the ciippings. I would highly recommend him"

"Jerry did an amazing job trimming a very tall tree in my backyard. The tree was located behind my garage, so he had to climb it. I'd recommend his services to anyone looking for this line of work."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

By definition, gardeners are experts at designing and maintaining outdoor gardens. Their job duties extend far beyond choosing the right plants for the area, which in itself is a job—they also help maintain the health and well-being of the plants. Gardeners work independently or for landscapers, nurseries, or horticulture design companies.

The truth is, there really is no such thing as a 100% deer-proof plant. Deer will decimate even the prickliest flora if they’re hungry enough. However, there are plenty of beautiful plants that deer don’t necessarily enjoy. These include thistles, wisteria vines, sword ferns, and beautyberries.

Deer are herbivores, and they love vegetable gardens as much as Peter Rabbit. If you don’t want to fence in your entire property, consider creating an attractive raised-bed veggie garden with mesh fencing around it to keep out deer and other critters.

You should plant trees at least 15 to 20 feet away from your house, and more if the tree will grow large and spread its limbs. Trees pose several dangers to houses when planted too close. They can litter the roof with leaves and branches, create fire hazards, make a ladder for larger pests, and even damage the foundation as their roots grow.

There are many factors to consider when building an in-ground concrete pool. This includes the pool’s primary purpose (relaxation or exercise) if you live in a warm or cold climate (how often it’ll be used), and if you have the budget for chemical treatments and pool maintenance. In-ground pools are often more costly than aboveground pools, but they’re considered more luxurious and hold more value.

Yes, rock gardens do need water. That said, they typically require less regular watering and, instead, more occasional, deep watering since the rocks trap moisture for longer than mulch. Make sure you don’t water your rock garden too much during the winter.
