"We took out the old tiles, removed the toilet and baseboards, and bought the tile before they came to do the installation. The work was done on 9-01-16. When I went to wash off the remaining haze a couple of days later, I discovered that the tiles were two different shades. It was obvious when they were on the floor. The person doing the installation should have seen this. We think he did but, since he didn't speak any English, might not have known how to communicate that to us. We called Pacific Stone & Tile and they said that they would come and replace the tiles that needed to be replaced. We could not match either shade of tile and had to buy two more boxes with a different shade number. Twice an appointment was made and canceled. The third one, 9-26-16, was kept and they redid the whole floor with the new tile. Before they started, all of the tiles were laid out on the garage floor to check for any variations. We had to buy the material to install the tiles, but they did not charge for any additional labor. The floor was checked before they left and everything looks fine. Tomorrow I will wash down the tiles to remove any haze and we can start thinking about getting everything back together again."

"After an extensive process of having different contractors evaluate my home & submit their estimates for the installation of a Bosch tankless boiler/water heater combination unit as well as new baseboard heating, I selected AStar Heating & Cooling. Their staff impressed me from start to finish. Initially, I met Aaron who provided a thorough explanation of how the work would be done, offered other options that I did not know of or considered at the time, and provided a fair estimate that was similar to most of the other contractors. Next, when the time came for the projects to be completed, the technicians, Robert & Trevor, were on point. They always arrived in a timely manner & started working right away. They worked efficiently & quickly to get the projects done in the time frame promised. However, they did not rush, they took pride in their work & made every effort to make sure the work was completed neatly & done properly, as they thoroughly tested out the systems to make sure their were no issues/problems in their setup & performance. They also thoroughly answered my questions about the installation of the new systems as they went about their work. At the end of each workday, they made sure to clean up the job site & were very mindful in not dirtying my new floors by wearing plastic booties whenever they had to walk over them. The Bosch tankless water heater/boiler combination unit has been working without a hitch. I barely notice the difference in the time lag of receiving hot water in comparison to the old 40 gallon tank water heater I previously used. Overall, I highly recommend AStar Heating & Cooling. High quality work done high quality professionals. All of them put my mind at ease on what was a very necessary home improvement project."

"Kris replaced my water treatment equipment for me. He fit my project into my schedule quickly. He was fast, efficient, and neat. I had to leave while he was working and he finished before I got back. I did not have a chance to go over the maintenance, care, and operation of this equipment. The manual was not much help. I do not understand the information that the unit gives me and I have asked to have it explained. And I wanted to set up a maintenance schedule, but no one has contacted me. I was able to use download the app for the equipment. But I do not understand the information. I am still waiting on the water analysis information. This is the only reason that my rating is only a 3. For everything else, I give them 5 stars. I hope that I am contacted soon for a follow-up to the installation."
