Don't get mixed up with a subcontractor or annoying salesman, we will come out to your house to show you material and picture samples and offer a professional opinion, price and job well done quickly and effortlessly. No hassle free repairs offered to our customers. Senior and family & friends discounts always. We have decades of experience with awnings, windows, doors and railings. When we work with a homeowner they usually call us for all different things because they like our work, price, and our one of a kind style.

"We are very happy with this company and their products. It took 2 months from estimate to completion for our patio cover. They offer lots of colors and go through all the options during the estimate. We got a sunshade on the west side and we love it. The installer was not very good at contacting us before showing up (its tough when you live in far away so we were happily surprised when they made the trip!) , but the foreman kept us updated as much as he could and in the end we are very happy. The installer cleaned up the job site daily - very professional. Everything is custom cut after you order it so expect a perfect fit. Down payment is half, so they can buy the materials, then the other half is due after completion. I really like that strategy."

DURING COVID-19: We are still booking appointments and practicing safety precautions that are in-line with the executive order. Please call for the fastest response and to get more details about how we are able to help you with your home needs. Woodwork, painting, electrical, plumbing, and more. My services might be varied, but they all come with the same promise of quality, dedication, and durability. Bonded and insured, I’m an experienced contractor with knowledge passed down from generations. I can offer a 1-year guarantee for all my services, along with free estimates.

"My experience with Rashad started off pretty well. He was nice, and I felt his pricing was very fair. He came by a little less than 2 months ago to give me an estimate, and we had scheduled an appointment around 2 weeks after the estimate, as he was booked up until then, which was fine by me. The day before he was scheduled to begin the job at my house, he asked if he could reschedule for a week later. I agreed, but I asked if he could come by in less than another week just to do 2 priority tasks such as installing my address number outside my house, as my house had no address number on it for weeks. He agreed and came by the following day for a few hours to do the address numbers and patch up a large hole in my ceiling, which I really appreciated. He came by the following week and completed some of the items he agreed to complete. Then the following week he was scheduled to come back on a Thursday, but the day before that appointment he said he had to reschedule because he needed a helper that was not available until Friday. No problem and we rescheduled to Friday. He was a little late on Friday and they were doing some loud work that sort of delayed our infant son's bedtime, but it was no big deal. That Friday evening before he left my home, I told him I would pay him most of the money we agreed upon for the entire list of agreed upon work even though there was still a significant amount of work left to be done on the list. He said he would be back Friday of the following week, and I paid him via Venmo that same evening he left my home. Unfortunately, after I paid him most of the agreed upon money, he never returned to complete any work, and there was still a number of list items he never completed nor even started. I text messaged him twice the following week before our appointment. Once to send him a list of the remaining items and another time the day before our appointment to confirm, but he never responded. Then at the end of the day of the missed appointment, I texted him again to politely ask when he would be able to come back and complete the job. Again, I received no response. About midway into the following week, I called him and he claimed he never received my text messages, which doesn't explain the missed appointment, but at least he said he would come back the following week to address the remaining work on the list. He then gave me his email address since he said he did not receive my text messages. We then setup an appointment for a Wednesday via text message, as I suppose he was now receiving my text messages. I text messaged and emailed him the day before our Wednesday appointment to confirm and ask what time he planned on arriving. He said he would be there around 10am. Now comes Wednesday 10am, the day & time of our appointment, and he does not show up. He sends me a text message later that morning that says he's stuck in the city on an emergency, he has not headed my way yet, and he will have an update for me soon. As of now, a full week later after that most recently missed appointment, I never received any update nor heard back from Rashad at all. I text messaged, called, and emailed him about 3 times each in the last week in case he would claim his phone or text messaging was not working again, and I have not heard back from him at all. Despite my frustration at this point, my messages to him were all courteous such as asking him if all was well with him and asking that he please get back to me at his earliest convenience, thanks, regards, etc.... I feel pretty stupid for trusting Rashad, as he never returned after I paid him, which was close to four weeks ago. Now, close to two months after finding Rashad, I have to begin the process of finding another handyman and paying money again to a new handyman to fix and complete the work Rashad left unfinished. My apologies for the lengthy review, but I am just astonished by Rashad's actions and unprofessionalism."

An eco-friendly window cleaning company who also offers other services such as awning cleaning, metal/frame cleaning, power washing and high dusting.

"The owner Paul - canceled on us 4 times and the 5th time didn't show up. He also didn't have the proper insurance so can't go into a lot of buildings. Don't ever hire this company!"

Awnings questions, answered by experts

How long it takes to install an awning at your house doesn’t vary by much. Most awnings on the market today come with easy-to-follow installation directions. You can expect to spend at least a couple of hours up to a full day installing yours. But in general, installing an awning shouldn’t take more than one day’s work.

DIY is possible for small, pre-assembled awnings. Professional installation ensures proper mounting and durability.

It’s best to keep your awning retracted if winds are 25 miles per hour or more to make sure your awning doesn’t sustain irreparable damage due to wind. Some awnings can take winds up to 30 miles per hour without any damage, but it’s best to consult the manufacturer’s guidance. A good rule of thumb is if it’s too windy for you to comfortably stand outside, it’s time to bring the awning in.

It depends on how you’ll use it. Both awnings and pergolas create shelter in outdoor areas, but pergolas have grid-style roofs, which are more open than awnings and not as effective at blocking out UV rays and precipitation. Also, pergolas are permanent structures, so you can’t put them away when you aren’t using them (unlike retractable awnings).

You can install an awning by yourself, without the help of a professional. Awning installation is an excellent DIY project that has immediate benefits. However, awnings are heavy and awkward for one person to handle. Always install awnings with the assistance of at least one helper. If you have trouble lifting heavy objects, it may be better to opt for professional installation.
